Amazing grooming service for my 8 month old show cocker! Martie spent lots of time with him to make him comfortable as this was his first proper groom and he can be quite nervous. He had quite a challenging coat but has come out beautifully!
Very knowledgeable, professional and caring service. We have a shy and skittish dog, so it was very reassuring to receive updates about how he was doing throughout the grooming process (he was amazingly relaxed!). Martie obviously has lots of experience and there is a sense that she knows what she's doing but also lets you know every step of the way. It was also very transparent from beginning to end, with a clear understanding of how long it would take, what to expect, what products will be used etc. My dog came back looking a couple of years younger, with beautifully soft fur, shiny and fluffy. I would wholeheartedly recommend Martie to anybody who asks me about a dog groomer.

A last Minute life saver, after being book 2 months in advance our usual Dog groomer cancelled on us just before the hottest days of the year (getting up to 36 in our local area). Every single groomer I called said the exact same thing to me, they only had availability in August. Thankfully I called Martie and she understood my concern for little pup and seemed to be the only Groomer who cared, she said she would squeeze her in an evening… We took Dutch along to her, and Dutch loved it, came back looking the best she has ever looked after being groomed.. Martie did an amazing job of trimming Dutch down so she would be cool on the hot days but also managed to keep shape in her face and legs and looking like our Dutch… We are definitely taking Dutch back to Martie.
Martie is just wonderful! She did an amazing job on my two fluffballs and I'm so pleased with the finished result. I took them both for a groom but because my Cavachon was so matted it took longer and we agreed to arrange another time for the second dog. Two days later they were both happily and confidently leading me to Martie's house which was the best approval they could give! Happy dogs and a happy owner.
Martie is the most professional, caring and knowledgeable dog groomer I have ever met, showing true empathy for the dogs left in her very capable hands. Poppy, our blue roan cocker is naturally quite timid but is always keen to visit Martie and always returns home behaving as if she's had a great day out and both looking and smelling beautiful. I have been using well kept dogs for years to Groom my Cocker Spaniel. Martie is the best groomer by far. My dog always comes back looking and smelling amazing! I had used other groomers before and the cut was always poor with clipper marks. Marties attention to detail makes sure this never happens! Would highly recommend!
