   Tracy’s Christmas chip was amazing. A good amount of turkey, ham, sausages and stuffing on well cooked chips with just the right amount of gravy. Really friendly service too. Thank you!

   Worst chippy food I have ever had. I ordered a Pastie Bap Supper, pastie appeared to have been originally cooked days ago and re-cooked several more times, horrendous, chips were like an offering from some 1980s mobile chip van. Wife got a Fish Supper, Fish was like something you'd buy out of Tesco and cook in the Oven, chips were same as mine. Girl and young Lad serving were friendly enough but the guts of 20 quid went into a bin.

   Ordered a fish here 31st August 2024. They charged me £6.70 and the girl who served me was so embarrassed at how small the fish was, she put a few chips in underneath. Good job that she did, the fish was simply inedible! Tough rubbery and grey, it was without doubt the very worst fish I have ever had. How they have the nerve to serve this at this price is beyond me. Even the seagulls wouldn’t eat it! Shocking. Avoid.

   EDIT...RECENT VISITS HAVE SEEN A MASSIVE IMPROVEMENT...IN FACT I WOULD GO AS FAR AS TO SAY THE FISH I HAD WAS REALLY GOOD AND THEIR GRAVY CHIPS ARE THE BEST.......Standard had improved but now its back to being the worst chippie in all of county down...chips like cardboard...tiny overcooked fish and a lot of reheated food....not enough staff to deal with the constant phone orders and walk in customers....very long wait on food...go to captain Jack's or drive up to kircubbin for a far better quality service....how does the ferry grill stay in business when it is so bad...

   Chips looked absolutely disgusting, cold, green, wrinkled up, tasted awful. How can you serve this standard of food to the public and get away with it???

   Most horrendous chippy I’ve ever had. Chips forgotten alongside other customers orders (my partner had to go back to get the forgotten items). No ketchup given after asking several times for it. Chicken was not even a nugget just more of batter on its own,hard to bite into. Cod was horrifically dry. Wouldn’t recommend.

   Well worth the drive along the peninsula for their fish and chips, uncommonly good, not the cheapest but easily the best value anyway. the staff were prompt and served my food as I asked for. Highly recommended.
