I was really happy with the valuation and the explanation which made me chose Whitakers. I have sold both my properties with Whitakers and dealt with both branch Anlaby and Anlaby road. My let property sale was really easy and quick. Dealt by Anlaby branch. They were really efficient only the conveyancers slowed us down. My main resident was a long process as buyers kept pulling out ref to market change etc so I sold 4 times and I was struggling to find an onward property. I have had mainly one person dealing with this at the Anlaby road branch and she was excellent. She understood my different approach and strong accent and was helping all the way with explanations and advice. Really gone out her way to explain things as they had changed a lot since I moved last time. Fantastic service by her.
Whittakers installed a new tennant. when the tennant left the house was in a very poor state, infested with fleas all carpets had to be thrown away, full fumigation had to be done and several fixtures missing. Whittakers did not supply the inventory upon the tenant leaving so I was unaware items had been removed. Also some furnishings had been smashed, I was not made aware of this either. very dissapointed and ended up over £2000 in repairs out of pocket.
Exceptional service, friendly, simple to understand and just so lovely to deal with. Personal service made me feel very valued as a customer and nothing too much trouble for them. Highly recommended to anyone.
As this was my first time looking to rent a property, I was unclear on a lot of what was needed and did not know what to expect. However, Whitakers were very helpful and informative with any questions or queries that I had. Looking back, the process was seamless and tailored to how I wanted to work with the procedure.
