   AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. where to start....this company are shocking they will let your landlord disconnect your boiler for numerous months then tell you must leave beacsue of structural damage! They will bully you using threat of bailiffs are comin when there not, this is actually against the law check it up they clearly dont know there job nor do there solicitor. They will blame the tenants for boiler breaking saying its tenant responsibility to keep pressure top up yes every few months yes but not every hour if needs toping up every hour clearly there a big issue dosent take plumber or Einstein to work that one out! This was mentioned back in January been without hot water and heating since August! The stress this is causing on my health aswell is shocking all they do is pass the book when ask them to fix this the landlords has legal responsibility to fix broken boiler especially in winter within 48hrs and they haven't provided any alternative heating! Is this a company you want as landlords to represent your home and your name is this company you as tenants would rent from when no works get carried out and there not understanding in anyway shape or form! We live in house that cold and damp with no heating and hot water we moved in we clearly stated there was damp at the viewing and still no works carried out to prevent it worsening this is shocking. I would highly recommend AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST.

   I recently rented an apartment through Poppy residential and the whole process has been great from start to finish. The team was really helpful, professional, and made everything super easy and stress free. Julia and Amy was always quick to respond to any questions I had and kept me updated throughout. The viewing was well organised , and they gave me all the info I needed to make a decision. Once I chose the place, the paperwork and referencing were handled smoothly, with clear guidance along the way. What really stood out was how friendly and approachable they were I felt like they genuinely cared about making sure everything went well. Thanks Dom

Lyndsey and her experienced team are always on hand to give great advice, professionally deal with tenants and handle any issues that may arise. Their new location at Hesslewood is really convenient if you ever need to pop in. Highly recommend!

   Poppy Residential have been and still are brilliant operators to deal with. They've looked after a property of mine in Hull for over twenty years and without fault, rent is paid monthly and a tenant found like clockwork if ever vancant. Any issues, be it plumbing, electric, maintenance or some issue raised by the Management Company, has been dealt with efficiently and without fuss. I haven't had to travel over for an issue once during the twenty years and would highly recommend Poppy to anyone.

   After an extremely traumatic and abrasive move back to Hull from Ireland after 13 years I found a property on Poppy residential. Being in between jobs and lacking some original documentation (that was in Dublin) the staff were extremely empathetic and helpful. I can say that after building a rapport with Amy (an employee) she went well above and beyond her duties to ensure that I secured the apartment. This young lady is an asset to the company and all staff I dealt with were pleasurable. I’ve no doubt other companies would’ve turned me away and I’d be couch surfing by now.    Poppy Residential have managed our apartments for the past ten years and they have always been professional, helpful and friendly. If access is required to properties for maintenance purposes, permission is always sought in advance from tenants as whilst it is not their property is it their home. Any issues found are always dealt with quickly and efficiently by accredited trades people. We have no reservation in highly recommending them

   I was a tenant with Poppy and I then went on to buy the house I was living in and I could not have done so if it wasn't for the help and guidance in communicating with the seller of the property through Poppy. Amy Towse in particular was extremely helpful and very responsive via telephone and email. Cannot recommend the Poppy Team and Amy enough.    Poppy Residential deserves 0 stars, to be completely honest. They don't respond to emails regarding issues with the property or in response to getting your deposit back, the girls in the office have very little knowledge of the properties and are totally unhelpful. I received the keys to my property last year and to my surprise it was filthy, and they had listed the property as being professionally cleaned before I had arrived on the inventory. The dishwasher was broken for 8 months despite numerous emails and calls made to the estate agents, and I was informed by the repairs company that they actually knew it was broken before I had moved into the property, and left it that way. What really came as a kick in the teeth is that they then tried to charge me over £100 for cleaning services once I had vacated my property, which I have photo evidence of being clean and in a much better condition than I had received it.They are highly unreliable and unprofessional, and I would actively discourage any tenants from using their services.
