   I started my journey with Longhurst six years ago and I have never looked back. I went from working in a job I hated to fully retiring and being able to do exactly what I wanted and Chris made that decision with me , showing me how I could do it and how I could live a more happier fulfilling life instead of being tied to a desk and the drudgery of that daily commute to London. If I have any concerns or worries Chris is at the end of the phone every time I need him , he even got back to me on a Sunday when I was having a bit of a wobble from overthinking things . He takes all my worries away instantly. We meet once a year to discuss my plans for the coming year but I know I can call him at any time during that year to discuss anything nothing is too much trouble. Chris is the most approachable , knowledgeable in his field and can deal with any of your financial needs and he has a great sense of humour too. Longhurst have a team of people so all your needs are covered under one roof and if they can’t deal with anything you may require he will definitely know someone who can . Best decision I ever made was going with Chris and his company and would definitely recommend them to everyone.

   The one thing that you need with a Financial Planner is a relationship built on trust which is exactly what Chris and the team build and sustain. Where a 'standard' adviser would just give you advice based on 'fact', I really appreciate the way in which Longhurst seek to understand you as a person so that they can provide advice based on understanding what's important to you, to your lifestyle and to your family.    On retirement we needed advice on personal pension consolidation, the pension lifetime allowance, maximising income from existing investments and inheritance tax planning. We had a number of meetings with Chris to discuss our existing financial arrangements and his recommendations for meeting our objectives. A number of inheritance tax strategies were considered before we decided on the most appropriate approach for our circumstances. Our personal pensions have been consolidated and re-invested to an agreed strategy. Chris has always been available to deal with our queries quickly and effectively. I have no hesitation in recommending Longhurst if you want a professional, friendly service and the feeling that you are a really important client.

   We have only started working with Chris and his team few weeks ago but It has been already proven that we made a right decision. Chris is extremely knowledgeable, experienced and professional what he does but also not too serious. The communication is outstanding, rapid and responsive.
