Having known Amanda since my early days, I was concerned havening would perhaps not work on me due to the personal relationship, but I was curious and gave it a shot. It has since become an emotional retreat that I return to for healing and to help me put things in perspective. Returning to trauma is no longer a scary experience, but more-so like a walk through the woods that lead to the beautiful sunrise. I still have a ways go go to truly implement havening in my day to day routine, rather than always needing the boost from the source and from private sessions, but with each session I feel closer to the goal of self havening. I would highly recommend havening to anyone who is seeking an outlet for their challenges and hardships in life, as it truly helps heal those wounds that we often neglect.
