Called and spoke to a staff called Mel on 2nd december2025 reg. a cruise holiday for 8 people. She said that she will email details and call back to disuss. No calls or email. When called again was told that she was busy and will send it on 3rd . So far nothing. Very disappointed.Poor service.
This review is long over due, for Nov 2024 we booked our wedding and honeymoon to Sandals St Lucia and Barbados A total of 13 local guests booked through Hops and it was seamless from start to finish We cannot thank them enough for recommending Sandals and subsequently helping us book this holiday of a lifetime I would 100% recommend this Hops and this holiday to anyone, and if you’re thinking of getting married there in St Lucia, it is incredible and the staff at the hotels are amazing and couldn’t do enough to help Special thanks to Ralph and Mel for helping us book this trip We will be using your services for our next holiday All pictures are taken from Sandals resorts
We have book many hoildays through hops travel and never had a problem , we went in October the 24th and was very specific on where we wanted to go since our last hoilday was perfect in lanzarote elba , anyway to cut a long story short we were booked into elba beach and golf resort fuerteventura the lady actually shown us the mistake she made when we had realised a few weeks later her mistake she had clicked the first elba hotel on the list thats she wrote into her search. When we found out we rang up and she did ring tui and try change our hoilday it would have cost £500 more not a price i was willing to pay due to a mistake made by hops and when asked what else could we do she said "go on the hoilday you booked" NO THE HOILDAY YOU BOOKED !!!!! . Here we are on our hoilday the hotel is very out dated , in the middle of no where we have had to hire a car just to do anything and see anyone I will never use hops travel again due to the fact i know we were scammed into this hoilday because fuerteventura and lanzarote sound nothing alike .and the fact she shown us how she booked the wrong place was an admittance of blame you were at fault not us
Have used HOPs travel agency for 15 years or more. The staff are very friendly as well as being very knowledgeable and well travelled themselves. We’ve travelled around the world to lots of different locations and nothing has ever been too much trouble to organise. Have had lots of tailor made tours which included multiple destinations, international as well as internal flights, hire cars, hotels and cruises. All faultless.
Very professional staff been using hops for about 15 years would not go anywhere else been on 30cruises with them and Orlando several times with family nothing to much trouble never had a problem keep up the good work ladies
100% would recommend Hops Travel with any holiday! They are so knowledgeable and keen to help in any way they can. They sort everything from start to finish! Booked several holidays with them and won't go anywhere else now! Keep recommending them to family and friends too even though we aren't local to Grimsby!

would put 0 stars if possible. My mum has used this agency for 16 years. She booked a 5 day cruise through them for herself and my sister - my sister has special needs, my mum is elderly and has problems with walking. She booked a taxi service for airport/hotel/hotel/cruise ship transport to alleviate any problems with having to find taxi's in America. The taxi did not turn up at the air port, Hops were less than helpful and advised her to get a taxi from the rnak which they did. They were assure the taxi to take them to the cruise ship was booked and woudl pick them up from the hotel the next mmorning. After waiting for an hour in the hotel recpetion my mum contacted Hops to be told it was held up in traffic. She waited another 45 minutes and called again to be told the taxi was waiting on the street corner - in Manhatten - they dutifully went to the designated corner with all of their bags, no taxi, they waited another 30 minutes before returning to the hotel. Another call to Hops amd they were told it was on the corner - the concierge went out with them and there was no taxi on ANY corner waiting for them. the hotle then booked them another private cab to the cruise ship - thye got to the ship only a short time before it sailed. My sister was so upset and traumatised by the whole event that she wanted to come straight back home and it totally ruined the holiday for both of them. On her return mum contacted Hops and was told the lack of taxi was all her fault as she hadn't got "the vouchers" she needed - at no time of booking the taxi's were vouchers mentioned. She was also told that Hops had not booked the taxi - the cruise company had - but, as mum stated - she had handed over money to Hops to book the taxi. The manager of Hops was patronising and rude and the conversation culminated in the MANAGER of HOPS TRAVEL putting the phone donw on my mum! Appaling service - wouldn't trust this company any more. Totally ruined the break for my 73 year old mum and sister.
