Owner is a big problem. Went in and he was dressed as Santa, made a harmless joke saying. I was a good boy and banned all 9 of may friends what a joke and what an awful place to be. Many recommended as a great place, wouldn’t recommend at all bouncer is a problem too
Genuinely the friendliest nightclub I've ever been in with extremely cheap drinks and friendly faces everyone. Not a place for chavs or hooligans. There's a kitchen upstairs that serves simple food like crumpets, toast, ice lollies etc. Free cloakroom and three beer gardens, hands down the best night out in Hull.
Strangely aggressive security, threw out a friend of mine for being too drunk, when he was completely in control, calm and relaxed. They came out of nowhere and marched him out with no explanation except to say they’d been watching him on camera, nothing about what he’d actually done or how he’d come across as drunk. A very disappointing end to the night, and hard to understand in what was otherwise a nice atmosphere.
Legendary alternative nightclub. Great selection of cocktails. Friendly & welcoming staff and customers. Highly recommended for a cheap & rocking night out. Go get some crumpets too when you need a break from drinking

Absolutely had a cracking night last night, good music! Amazing crumpets! While waiting to collect my coat and bag a long haired bouncer randomly took me and my friend down to the floor for no reason whatsoever. I spoke to the head bouncer about how this was completely uncalled for and needs to do something about it. There was no reason for this and if someone did that to me in the street I would have called the police as it was attacking two girls unprovoked. I hope they remove this bouncer to prevent it from happening again. #Traumatic
Visited Spiders again for the first time in 23 years. So pleased it survived the pandemic. It was a superb venue for Halloween.
First time at this unique nightclub. Be aware it only opens on a Saturday night. Has three areas Rock, indie and upstairs was a 60,70,80’s room. Decor here is very dark. Drinks are super cheap!
Great atmosphere, cheap entry and drinks. So many cocktails on offer! 2 music areas downstairs playing anything from nu metal and punk, to death metal and 1 upstairs playing classic rock
