   Approved me and paid out on a vehicle in November 2025. The vehicle's engine failed after 5 days so I rejected it under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. The dealer dragged their heels so it took 3 weeks to get the vehicle returned, and a further 5 days for Moneybarn to unwind the finance - by which point their loan had hit my credit profile. Attempted to re-apply for a replacement vehicle once the unwind was completed, only to be declined. Literally the ONLY change to my credit score/profile was THEIR LOAN which THEY KNOW to be unwound. So one month they approve me, the following month they decline me ... based on the exact same information. Thanks so much! I have a disabled toddler, and I now don't have a car to transport her around. Marvellous - and right before Christmas too! What a company!

   What a fantastic company. This is my first ever finance. We originally applied through hero car finance we took an Adam and didn't realise it had 4 seats so quickly cancelled that one and closed it down Moneybarn and Bright car finance were fantastic. I then started having issues with the people at hero car finance and they were giving me outrageous monthly costs and constantly changing the down payment and being rude. So I asked to be moved to really easy car credit through the broker. I then found a fiat 500x and within a few hours it was accepted and I received the vehicle last week and me and my wife love it. Very grateful for moneybarn financing this vehicle for me and doing it for the second time after the issues with the first application. Highly recommend moneybarn there customer service callers and information given is simple and effective.

   Was finding it really difficult to get finance because of an IVA but Moneybarn accepted me and on terms that suited my current situation. Have sent me contact details if I need any help and if I have any worries. Would definitely recommend them to anyone but especially those who find it hard to find finance.

   This company was sending letters to my address for a person who has never lived there as far as me and my boyfriend are aware of. I called them to explain this, and understood that due to data protection they couldn't do much without speaking to said person. One morning when I was leaving my house for work at 7.30 am, a man was waiting outside with a transporter vehicle looking for said person and car. Explained the situation to him. a year later, while we were at work police were knocking on our door looking for said person. Our neighbours made us aware of this. A few days later police came again and spoke to my boyfriend. asked if my boyfriend was said person, he said no and offered them some id so they could see who he was. They didn't look at it, left and not heard from them or this company since. Please could you update your systems when people tell you someone does not live at their address. As this caused a lot of stress for us when we were first time buyers of a house

   Don’t trust them! We got a car on finance with them on January and in September the engine car crush and I open a claim they refuse our claim and left us with a faulty car and 5 years finance ! They don’t help they costumers I had a bad experience with them! They answer to emails after 10 working days! We are a simple family and is our first car on finance and we can not believe that in this situation they don’t help us the engine car crush after 8 months and they don’t care!

   Thank you to Moneybarn for allowing me to purchase my car on HP two years ago which I have today paid off in full!! Over the moon. The signing up process was really quick and smooth from what I can remember. The interest rates weren't great but neither was my credit history, so can't really complain. I never had any issues and never once missed a payment, nor did I ever fall into financial difficulty thank God, despite the pandemic (which may explain why I never had any issues with this company). I've read stories of poor customer service when falling on hard times but I can only review this company based on my own personal experience. Whenever I called I usually got through to someone very friendly and helpful. Their online portal is also very good and I loved the freedom of being able to make over-payments whenever I wanted. All that said going forwards, I will no longer use car financing agreements. I have decided to pay in cash for vehicles - it really is the best way in this debt-obsessed society. This will only get worse sadly with the current cost of living crisis and this abysmal Tory government. My moral now is 'if you can't afford to pay for it in cash you can't afford it'.
