   Mia Mullen's shop is a real treasure trove for anyone who likes good modern design and is lucky enough to be in Carlingford. I bought a brilliantly clever necklace from one of the showcases and then got stupidly confused when I got home about how the pendant should be related to the clasp. Mia picked up my distress call and patiently took the trouble to explain what her dopey English customer was doing wrong. So I didn't just get a wonderful new piece of jewellry, which I wear almost all the time, but a wonderful and undeserved dose of a really special jeweller-goldsmith's warmth and kindliness. A gem of a shop in every way.

   I ordered a beautiful wrap ring, picture below, March 2018. Unfortunately the ring unraveled after a few time wearing it - I've e-mailed and called Mia, however I have not received any response yet. I'm gutted, I don't usually spend that much money on jewellery!

   We discovered Mia by chance whilst in Carlingford. Her pieces are beautifully simple and elegant. She designed my engagement ring and our wedding rings, which are constantly admired. To have a unique bespoke personalised engagement ring and band makes them very very special and Mia translated and improved upon our ideas perfectly. Highly recommend.
