Very welcoming, lovely genuine people, only wanted my dogs nails clipped but they said didn't need it so no charge, they trimmed the fur between her pads and didn't charge, will be taking her back there for certain! We recommend them highly. 5*
What a shambles of a company took my pom in for her 6 weekly groom had asked for her rear end to be shaved as now incontinent and a slight trim to the rest of her to find they took it upon themselves to shaved her completely. Only reason for the 1 star is because I had to out it in if I had a choice I would rate this place it would be a minus 10 STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS BUISNESS. Very rude and went as far as to say my dog was neglected when that is far from the truth
We were recommended by a neighbour and took our 16 month old cocker spaniel for her first trim. They were very welcoming and explained exactly what they were going to do and their knowledge on the specific breed was amazing. They didn’t over cut or trim and kept her looking like herself but without any knots or matts! We were thrilled with how settled she was and how comfortable she was in the environment. Highly recommend for any dogs/owners slightly nervous about grooming. 10/10 service!
Managed to get a cancellation last minute and so glad I did as my little yorkie benji looks and smells amazing. Lovely ladies in there and really helpful. Benji is very nervous but he was good as gold. Great place and would highly recommend. Love the bow tie !

We take our rescue dog here, was very worried to begin with as he can be aggressive (if he feels he's being attacked); they handled him supremely (Sadie) and even sent us a video showing how much he was enjoying it, although he didn't let them cut around his face! Wouldn't take him anywhere else now. Seeing a previous review re a "stubborn" golden retriever prompted me to write this review, realise people can get in their feelings if their dog is being criticised, I do myself, but think shows from the owner of the groomers reply that it was coming from a good place, and if they with their experience, state the difficulty of dealing with a particular dog, as really hard as it would be, I advise their "dad" to take their comments onboard, and believe them x
Bentley runs in here looking very tatty and comes out trimmed to perfection and smelling amazing. We love the service here.
Our 6 year old Golden retriever recently visited. We found the service very unprofessional. They said they had to keep him in a muzzle all the time. One girl shouted out that your dog needs to be in a muzzle whenever he leaves the house. He's a very friendly GR that has never bitten anyone or any other dog. They must have given him a very rough time, because as with most GR they can be a bit stubborn. Why not phone us and say we cannot handle your dog please collect him. Needless to say, not returning to this groomer.
Our beautiful Maisie Mai came home happy and looking absolutely gorgeous. She's a long haired giant breed, who we adopted from Serbia. She'd had a heartbreakingly sad life there and so can be wary of new situations. We're new to the Island and this was our first experience of a local groomer. I'd highly recommend Wight's Wash 'n' Wag and will definitely be using them again. Many thanks for taking such great time and care with our beautiful girl ♥️♥️
