A wonderful peaceful place to enjoy a very special moment in well kept surroundings, views over the water... Just be aware of the tide coming in....

A peaceful and picturesque part of Chichester Harbour National Landscape, this charming little village sits by a tidal inlet, lending it a distinctive character. Streets of charming cottages, a historic church and a café make Bosham worth a visit if you're in the Chichester area. The road around the harbour is cut off by the tide, but at low tide you can walk across the causeway and enjoy the view back to the village. There's a large paid parking area with well maintained toilet facilities a couple of minutes walk from the village centre. Only downside was the smell of seaweed when we visited, but you'll get used to it after a while.

A great place for picnics and walks, tide dependant. Bring a camera. But the car park is pay all week

We love staying in this village. And the added entertainment of watching cars drown in the tidal shift is as close to a Shakespeare play as you can get, a comedic tragedy! The town needs a “car is a-drowning” alarm bell. We love the eateries, the daily walks in nature and the swans!

It was quite a dull grey winters day when I visited Bosham, I arrived just before high-tide the racing sail boats where just entering the water. The church was very atmospheric Great sense of ancient Saxon times. Good cafe on the main road , they also great knowledge of the church opening times etc. Nice day. Thanks

Such a quaint, cute village with amazing views and the doors on people’s homes are so fun to see. These pictures just do not do it justice. I only wish I had better company as the people we were staying and traveling with were well…challenging…that’s actually an understatement. Suffice to say, we don’t talk to these radio rental people. We learned to keep our circle small, but hey ho back to the review…this area is a nice place to visit.

Lovely walk around Bosham. Its a very picturesque place to visit. We even spotted a grass snake as the tide was coming in, who merrily swam away from us.

Came across Bosham quite by accident. Saw signs for a craft centre and followed our notes. Great little place. Plenty of parking area - reasonable rates. No problem with the camper. Now ... beware ....parking by the waters edge !!! It's tidal, see photos !!! Cafes, walks, church, quayside, Nat Trust Green and a lovely craft centre. Easy couple of very pleasant hours spent here. Enjoy.
