If you want to learn about birds, this is an ideal place to visit. Although it doesn't have toilets or a café, it more than compensates for those lack of facilities by the amount of different bird species which can be observed. There is a service station next to it, for those who want to get something to eat or to use the facilities . Btw, please write a letter to the environment agency to permanently repair the gate which if left as it is might break letting the sea water in, which will destroy the marshes and reeds, not to mention the wildlife.

Not been here since I was at school but I was taken away by the beauty of the marshes. Some areas looked like something from another planet. Would definitely recommend an evening walk round the marshes. There are a few different routes you take. If walking and nature is your thing then it’s a must.

Beautiful and quiet place to walk, fresh sea breeze and barely a soul in sight. Getting close to nature unspoiled

Nice place for a walk but really is right next to the motorway so it’s a little loud. Lots of wildlife though! Also I had it typed in on the satnav and it just decided to give up as I drove past it on the motorway so make sure you know your turning!

Great place for a peaceful walk. Rescued a Buzzard from the sea, so pretty happy to have visited again. Good place for a bit of exercise!

It's a very peaceful area. To have a walk, do some bird watching and generally just relax your mind off of thing. Walking around the Peninsula completely is about 45 minutes to 1 hours. These a wide path that takes you all around.

Lovely walk and nice scenery! Great amount of different birds, plants and nice marsh. There were not very direct local transports so having some stops on the Farlington marshes will be even better!Having some more boards showing different birds and plants to look forward for will be even better as well.

A great place for a walk with nature. Once you get away from the road and the traffic noise it's nice and tranquil. I walked from Broadmarsh car park near Havant around the southern edge and back through one of the paths through the marshes. This took about two hours and was about six miles. Saw a few bird watchers, dog walkers and fellow walkers on the way.
