   There is limited, free parking which is in woodland. This is good for keeping the car cool in summer but paintwork can be offered gifts from the wild birds! It is only a short walk to the beach and Portsmouth Harbour, with amazing views across to Portsmouth. The top of the beach is, unusually, under the branches of large, mature trees. All very pleasant!

   Lovely area to walk the dog, and a variety of wildlife can always be seen. There is no closed in area, toilets, or food venue here. However there is a little place to park so it's worth a visit. It is also part of a gosport coastal walk so you could make a day of it if you plan to follow the path on somewhere else. Take some wellies if it's wet. It gets rather muddy. Everyone who walks their pups here is super friendly and has mostly well-behaved dogs.
