Been with Mercer Jones for many many years now. Fantastic friendly service and competitive quotes. A few years back I had some quotes from others, and only the AA managed to beat Mercer Jones quote (by £15 so I stayed put). Great to have an office to pop into if needs be rather than just a voice at the end of an expensive phone call.
My Wife’s Aunt passed away in December,and we now deal with Her bills(her older sister still lives in same property) We had a renewal for their Buildings&contents insurance from Mercer Jones,of £389 .This seemed rather high,so used a well known on-line Comparison site,and got Exactly the same cover for £89.00 !. ****** BEWARE *****

I have used Mercer Jones for business policies since 1995 and always had great and friendly service. When i needed to claim they were always helpfu land reassuring.They always gave me a great price. I cannot fault them. Last year I saved myself £20 by using my brother's broker for a policy. Big mistake. Back to Mercer Jones I go. Recommended.
This broker is so tardy in refunding premiums following death of house insurance holder and they do not return calls.Have been waiting 7 weeks for refunds on two policies. They also profit from the death of the policy holder, who was a client from 1992, by charging £40 per policy admin fee despite getting commissions from the insurance company since 1992.
