£2.50 for 2 onion rings, but described as a stack on the menu,I hate it when you get conned.Otherwise it's a 5 star, everything else was spot on and the service was fab. Very nice inside and a good selection of keg beers, just let down by the onion rings as if you said £1.25 for each onion ring nobody would be daft enough to buy them.

Stupendous fish and chips! It's great to see a few more people have ventured into the town centre to experience this lovely little pub. Super staff make it all the more enjoyable.

Food very tasty. Pies are highly recommended. Only scored a 4 on service as they were short staffed. However the service provided was very good considering the situation. Would have been 5 if enough staff were on shift Atmosphere was great, nice and relaxed for a lunchtime.

The owners have really gone to town on this lovely old pub,the decor is absolutely fantastic. Made very welcome from the moment I stepped through the door. I ordered the sirloin steak and a pot of tea, and I have to say it was bloody lovely! The portions were plentiful, and the steak was cooked to perfection. The pricing was spot on, and all in all, I had a very nice evening . Thanks to Lee and his team ,I would recommend this venue to anyone.

Wicked place good hospitality great set up. Food came shortly after order was taken staff were friendly and talkative. Great night with 2 for 1 cocktails took great advantage would recomend the del boy and rum bongo. Mains portion size was enough to share or a healthy one person serving.

Great decor and music. Fries very nice, bbq beans delicious. Unfortunately the chicken and beefburgers were incredibly salty and the donuts dry. When we commented on the saltiness at the end to staff, the reply was 'not sure what we can do about that.' Pushing for a refund isn't our style, we just won't go back. Normally if we can't finish our meal we ask to take the rest with us but there was no point as we wouldn't have eaten it.
