For a Xmas Break with food and drink in the dining court all inclusive and the entertainment is just amazing value. The Hotel itself is looking a bit worn now but very modern and spacious. it is only people that don't respect the rooms that are the problem.

Great for the price paid, but feels very tired and I'm need of refurbishment. Carpets in the corridors rolling up when pulling suitcases. Rooms were comfortable

Good hotel.. the rooms are spacious and has a locker, fridge and a Tele.. has a kettle, hairdryer also... Did not have handwash, body wash etc so bring your own.. the only negative about this was the 3-4 check in (which is fine).. but check out is at 10am which I think is quite early..

We stayed in Room 306 at Wave Hotel. The room itself was clean and neat upon check-in, with spotless bed sheets and covers. The kids’ room and bed were also nice. However, the hotel in general feels a bit worn out. The rugs in the hallways are torn and patched, and there was a horrible toilet smell lingering in the corridors. The elevators are quite old. The AC worked really well, but there was no hot water in the shower unless the hot water in the sink was turned on first, which was very strange. Staffing is limitedβ€”only one person is at reception, and sometimes they aren’t there or leave before 5 p.m. Overall, it’s not a 5-star hotel experience, but it was okay since we spent most of our time outside doing activities. If you stay here, keep your expectations realisticβ€”it’s clean and decent for a place to sleep, but don’t expect luxury.

Really nice hotel. Warm welcome upon arrival. Hotel room was ready when we got there at 1pm. Staff nice and friendly. Room really clean and up to date. Balcony that has a view of the resort. TV in the main room and one on each of the bunks which is really good for children!

We have stayed at the wave many times since 2015 and have always been happy. On this occasion I noticed at night when the reading light over the bed was on it reflected lots of dust particles in the air. As it was our last night I did not raise it but feel now I should have done for the next guests. But apart from that the room was spotless. There was no soap dish in the bathroom by the handbasin, which meant the soap had to sit on the worktop which wasn't ideal. My only other comment concerns the coffee shop on the ground floor. I asked for a flat white on the first morning to be told they did not do them and so I had to ask what they did do and chose a latte. Our daughter treated me to a cocktail on another occasion but when asked about them I was just given a verbal list of names, which frankly meant nothing to me at all. And so I queried the ingredients in a couple and just went for a Mojito as the only one I had tried before. Unfortunately, the person serving us (the same person on both occasions) seemed a little exasperated. Because of this, I do feel the coffee shop would benefit from a simple drinks menu listing all the options and a more welcoming approach. We have already rebooked for next year.

It was good to use as a base. I think if we went again we would probably upgrade to one of the suites with a family area instead of a normal room. My partner and I stayed for a few days before we had children, not long after the hotel opened and thought it was amazing hence taking our family to stay. Our little one is only a toddler so evenings after dinner we tended to go back to our room and settle down for the night - he thought his room was amazing (underwater themed, lights, TV in the bunks) but actually for us as adults the main bedroom wasn't all that great. The bed wasn't particularly comfortable, the water wasn't very warm (despite trying and trying to get it to go above 30c using supplied instructions) the temperature of the room was ridiculous (the heating was turned off and the door to the balcony open in November!) The storage in the rooms was ok, but I think I would have personally preferred a combination of draws, shelves and rails instead of mainly shelves and maybe some more hooks (especially in the bathroom and kids room) the hotel itself is showing it age but I think that's more to do with people vandalising it (the main seat in reception looked very tatty *it had a massive hole in it with stuffing exposed* and the vinyls in the lifts (of fish, coral etc) had clearly been picked etc.

Wave hotel was clean-ish on arrival. We did find a tumble weed of hair in the bathroom and someone else's soap? Makes you question how well they cleaned the room. Generally hotel ok. Never any staff in reception which I find poor. Overall budget hotel quality at best.
