Great location for a quiet restful time. Backs onto fields and the atmosphere is incredible. Highly recommend
Had my 30th Birthday Party here in December, I had been recommened to them as my friends had their engagement party at the venue in September, for a September party it was absolutely wonderful, you had the use of indoors and outdoors, with the sunsetting beautifully over the fields. December it was fantastic to! Even though the weather wasn't on our side, it's a fabulous birthday to host any special occasion. I'd highly recommend. I love it for the atmosphere and the quirky side it brings!
Really great stay at the Cow Shed apartment at Varr House. Incredibly quirky design gives it great character, hot tub with countryside views and a brilliant location for local pubs, walks and beaches a short drive away. Thank you for a fun break.
Stayed here for the weekend to celebrate my friends 50th birthday. We had the cow shed and the pig sty both with their own lovely hot tubs overlooking a huge field with sunset views. The hot tubs were excellent and checked for water quality every day. Both appatments were well equipped for self catering with quirky decor in each one. I would return in a heartbeat, absolutely lovely place local pub a short walk away too. Continental breakfast was included and was excellent quality with plenty to go round. A real treat. I struggle to comprehend the vision and determination that has created the environment of Varr House. Is truly amazing and an absolute joy. The bedrooms are superbly appointed, may seem a little quirky, but that is the style of the entire environment. Nowhere is there sacrifice in quality or visual stimulation. The owners and their manager are professional and attentive in every respect, offering a level of opportunity to relax that you would be hard pressed to experience at any price. A visit that is worth every modest penny.

Unusual pretty B&B with country location and eclectic furnishings. Comfortable beds and lovely views across garden and field. Extremely steep stairs up to the bedrooms and steep step down into bathroom requires care, fitness and sobriety! Good breakfast and friendly caring service.
