A lovely B&B which we found when attending a wedding at the Tythe Barn. Janet & Ian are super hosts, the room clean and comfortable and the breakfast great.
Perfect spot to stop on the South Down Way and have a good rest. Janet was very welcoming and the breakfast was amazing. Highly recommended!
Great little get-away. I was given a cottage with kitchen (super for families at this price point I think) and I got some sleep before the Ferry to France the next morning early. As I would be too early for breakfast, and breakfast was included Janet packed breakfast in a bag for the journey!
Had an excellent 4 night stay as a family of 4 plus dog. We stayed bed and breakfast in the family room. Janet and Ian were lovely hosts, plus their dog Bonnie and our dog had some great morning walks together. The home cooked breakfast was brilliant, the kids especially enjoyed it. And the location was excellent for days out.
Six of us were walking the South Downs Way this week and one of our stops was Copper Beeches B&B. From the moment we arrived, our hosts Janet and Ian were incredibly accommodating. Janet was very attentive to our needs, washed and dried our walking clothes that evening and even ferried us into the local village for dinner as we had been let down by a local taxi firm. The cooked breakfast was outstanding, each of us ordering something different and it was all cooked to perfection - tasty and hot. We only stayed a single night in the main house but would have been happy to stay longer had we not been headed to our next destination. Well recommended!
Nice base for walking or cycling. Dog friendly as you can take your pooch but no enclosed garden to roam in and opens out to a busy main road ,no gate.
Lovely place to stay - especially if you're at a wedding event at The Barn. Thank you Janet for being a wonderful host, albeit briefly. It must be a wonderful place to come and spend some more time as the scenery on the drive in and out was spectacular!
Had a lovely stay with our dogs. Janet was kind enough to take us to a nice local pub as we were walking the SDW. Very dog friendly and excellent breakfast.
