What a lovely pub. Great meal too. At first I sat near the open fire. Had to move as it was way to hot. Added to the charm of the pub. Also found out they didn't mind you taking your dog in...that makes it extra special in my eyes
Booked for a lunch for 4 people, first visit! Proper country pub with a welcoming fire. Staff very friendly, and food was first class. Desserts were irresistible! Will definitely go again!
Just had a lovely lunch. Mum loved the Garlic Mushrooms and the homemade Steak pie was v.nice. All cooked fresh.
Lovely place and food. Must book as can be busy specially at weekends.

Looks good inside The menu is limited at the moment but staff are friendly and helpful The one thing we didn’t like about it are the cctv in the toilets especially the mens it’s a breach of privacy and it’s not recommended by the ICC as it’s not like you sign the data protection form before you are recorded using the urinals!!! Apart from that still a good local
This place has had a revamp since i last visited...very well decorated as with a chic bistro feel. New style menu ...good variety. Service was quick and nicely presented. Good selection of beers and even a gin bar. Will definitely go again sometime.
