Good food, nothing fancy but cooked well, was given a separate area as we had a large group.Easy to book and add people on.
Food is really nice & fairly priced. The service was excellent especially paula! She made our visit very enjoyable. She was always asking if everything was fine & ok for drinks. The play area was very good & managed to tire out my triplets. Will definitely visit again.
We had an excellent meal at The Cricketers — everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service made it even better. Paula was especially helpful and efficient throughout — friendly, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly. Highly recommend this place if you’re after great food and genuine hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!
Great venue. I came with the wife for our anniversary meal, was seated by a lovely manager with long brown hair and glasses. Food was 10/10. We both had steak and it was cooked perfectly. Our first time here and it did not disappoint. Service 10, food 10, drinks 10. We will be returning!
I went in for a quick lunch with my granddaughter today. There was such a good variety of children’s meals and really good value. My granddaughter has allergies and the server Mike checked for allergies and made sure the kitchen were aware too, really put my mind at rest. Food was delicious, hot and great portion sizes. Thanks again Mike.
Absolutely brilliant! Food was cooked to perfection. It was an absolute pleasure to be served by Mike who was very friendly and accommodating and could not have done more make our visit any better. Highly recommended.
Popped in today for my birthday lunch. The service was great staff was friendly and polite. I asked for fish staff was quick to state no fish so I picked out gammon steak with egg pineapple and chips with mushy peas. My partner picked Mac and cheese and my daughter had scampi chips and mushy peas. Table service was excellent all the meals was to a decent standard
The food was not exceptional, but it certainly hit the spot for a quick lunch. It was quite quiet when we were there so seating and service went smoothly. I can't honestly say you should go out of the way to visit the Cricketers, but if you are in the area there's certainly no reason to avoid this place based on my experience there.
