Absolutely ridiculously expensive shop. Dearest charity shop in Portsmouth. Most charity shops have a box of cars at like 50p each, this shop has individually priced each ones at more than £2 each- you can get a box of 10 for a £1 in Poundland- they are not good quality cars. Things in the cabinet are expecting a very very niche buyer to come in that is looking for that exact item. Too much focus on matching eBay prices and no understanding that charity shops make more money by lowering prices and turning over stock quickly

Whenever I'm in Southsea I always visit this shop. Love the retro stuff but is priced a little high. Staff are not always helpful but is to be expected from youngesters. A few years back I bought a scarf with bells on for Egyptian dancing and do glad I did as I'mnow learning this form of dance.

I visited the shop during the day on 12 th December and was struck by how friendly the sales assistant was at the time. However, I have just visited the shop today (22nd December) and could not believe how rude the two assistants were. It was almost 4.30 pm and they were clearly keen to close the store. However, the way they spoke to me and an elderley customer in order to get us to leave was unacceptable. Something along the lines of "If you're not going to buy that please leave." I made a purchase nonetheless, but however late it is, there is NO need to be rude to customers. Very disappointed indeed. What a contrast with 12th December.

This is an interesting and well-run charity shop in the heart of Southsea, with perhaps the most varied selection of collectable and wearable items on offer in the area. The staff are always friendly and helpful, with manager Laura on hand to provide more experienced guidance where necessary. A must-visit store for collectors and bargain hunters alike!
