   A quiet visit xmas eve lunch time. Friendly staff. One customer debating with staff over the prices of their stock and other stores. Prices are low so why waste your time traipsing around several shops to maybe save a few pence?

   I used to think these places were for poor people on benefits, but it's great if: you're on a budget, a student, or if you want to find exotic food that most supermarkets wouldn't stock. I can't say I'd go to town specifically to shop here, but when I do go to town I'll pop in here most times than not. What sort of stuff I like buying: >They stock the strongest bin bags I've seen at a really good cost. >Super cheap packets of dry and microwaveable rice. >A nice condiment selection. >Vegan flapjacks. >Super cheap pet bedding.

   Plenty of good deals and plenty of great deals. You can't buy a better tin of Italian plum tomatoes for only 25p and where else can you get 5 cans of in date Pepsi for just £1 ? Be prepared to buy a least twice as much as you went in for!
