   I ordered off their own website tonight at 20:15pm. They accepted my order and gave me a delivery time of 9pm. It got to 10pm and still no food. I ring the takeaway and they are closed. They accepted my order and took my money. No food received and no refund. Absolute joke. I also checked Just Eat and it said that they were still delivering yet they are closed. False advertising. I wouldn’t even give it a star but it won’t let you do that. Very very disappointing.

   You'd have thought with the recent changes this place might have been half decent. The lady behind the till was polite but just looked unbothered. Food is horrible, hard grey chips, a battered sausage that was sad and soggy. The only good thing was the curry sauce. Asked for a breadcake, lightly buttered is an understatement, one knife swipe on each side. I don't like to waste my food but this food went in the bin, I wont be going back. Do not recommend at all. Will go to 'Fish & Chips' down the road instead

   We've gone to our local chippy for years and they've always been giving us high standards of fish and chips - today was not the case. The chips weren't cooked properly, the fish was drenched in grease (to the point where it was falling apart) with very little fish in the batter to begin with and the battered sausage was nowhere near as crispy as it usually is. It's a real shame to see a good chip shop's quality drop so severely.

   Was a regular at this place but since new owners/ employees recently there has been a dramatic decrease in quality of service, product and overall atmosphere whenever I go now. Hard for them to understand the simplest of orders, portion sizes way smaller than they used to be. Overall disappointed with the service now and only use if I really have to. You must have the patience of a saint to place an order here now, seriously!!

   Really enjoyed the fish,it was large and well done as i asked,the only thing was the mushy peas,really strange sweet taste as tho they had been mixed with honey..change the peas and it was lovely

   Not the best looking or tasting. Ordered from deliveroo and the 'chicken burger' is literally a piece of breaded chicken breast from the supermarket, no buns so cannot understand why they call it a burger.

   Ordered tonight, fish was rubbery and had a funny taste. Also found a long hair in the chips. Absolutely disgusting. Never again will i get this chippy. Id give 0 star if i could.

   Had fish and chips from these and have to say we’re excellent. Used to go to greenwood ave fish shop for years but no more these knock spots off them these and the price is very reasonable Nice friendly staff go to these at least 3 times a week now. Would recommend these to anyone.
