   When you enter it looks cluttered and dim lighting also dirty looking,compared to other stores. Don't get a chance to do the charity button at payment as it gets turned off by a member of staff.

   If you like cheap stuff of variable quality, then you'll like Poundland. Things actually cost more than a pound in a lot of cases, meaning you can't enjoy the amusement of asking how much something costs, like you could in the old days when everything was one pound. A good place for cheap chocolate and assorted things you probably don't need.

   Quite a large Poundland branch. Clean and tidy on my last visit. Always worth a browse, if you actually need it and it's just £1, usually a bargain. Good source for cheap AA and AAA batteries. Staff are always friendly and service is quite fast.
