This has gone downhill since Frreedom took over and has gotten even worse over the last 6 months. The swimming lessons used to have 3 sets of lessons in the pool so they had plenty of room, however, now there are 5 lessons at a time and the pool is sectioned off for each group. There is not enough room for the children to swim without kicking, splashing or swimming into each other. It is too overcrowded both for the children in the pool and for the parents watching. People now leave their belongings in the changing room cubicles so when lessons are finished, we struggle to find somewhere to change. We have spoken to staff about this but nothing has changed. The pool closed recently, which couldn't be helped, but instead of being offered a refund we have been told the children can have an extra lesson over the Christmas period which is likely to be inconvenient for most people. Prices are far too high for what you get here now. I will likely look at lessons in Corby for my child if nothing changes.

Been taking my son here since last March, after months of slow progress we had to switch his teacher to Fred and he thrived with him and quickly progressed from stage 1 to 2 then 3. Since stage 3 and having a new teacher his progress slowed down again namely due to teachers always changing and the layout of the pool changing. Stage 3 is now in the shallow end in a section less than half the size it was, he’s been in this stage almost a year yet things such as water safety message knowledge hasn’t even been assessed. We’ve now pulled him from lessons due to health and safety concerns. As the swimming areas is now smaller but class size the same I witnessed children nearly get kicked in the head on 2 occasions Friday due to overcrowding. When raising concerns the general managers tone was argumentative and hostile, 100% do not recommend we’re now looking elsewhere.

Not what it used to be manager is quite rude he definitely doesn't know how to speak to customers. Cleanliness is zero there's no soap in the toilet to clean hands. Prices gone up too high but what for if the cleaning standard has gone down. Some teachers attitude is not good towards children I don't know if they are selective which they shouldn't be and the worst is you can't even make complaints online as there's no option you make complaints face to face they won't listen.

Overall I like the pool but it does have a few problems. The shower in the disabled changing room is really dodgy, it doesn't always work and is freezing cold so that means having to hobble to the main showers which is a lot of pain. The pool water is absolutely freezing, which makes pain worse. I also think its a bit over priced. Oh and you can't use the lockers in the disabled changing room.

Be cautious with membership contracts at this facility. In my experience, staff gave me incorrect information about cancelling my membership. I believed my membership had been cancelled after speaking to staff in person, but two months later, I discovered I was still being charged. When I returned to complain, I was told that cancellations must be submitted in writing—something that had not been made clear to me. Despite this, the general manager declined to offer any refund. I also found the facilities outdated and not well-maintained. Personally, I would not recommend this place based on my experience.

This pool is a really nice place to swim and train. The staff are excellent. My wife is paraplegic and enjoys swimming unfortunately most of the pools in the area, although they all have disabled access the staff at Kettering pool make it much more pleasant. There is nothing that is too much trouble for the staff. They are all patient, friendly and informative. I feel that it is the staff here that make this such and enjoyable palce to swim. The hoist to get in and out ofbthe pool is an old pump style and it is hard work for the staff yet not once have I heard any member of affairs complain or grumble about this. A big thanks to the staff at Kettering pool.

Prices have gone up over 25% in less than a year whilst the cleanliness of the place has dropped by the equivalent. Some days there is black mould visible around the pool edge and the changing room floors are filthy.

A great community facility, the pool and changing area are well-kept. There's also a fully equipped gym, excellent.
