   We stay here often when visiting nearby family. We always get a nice welcome and friendly service. Food is excellent and in a cosy setting. We stayed in “Croxton “ this time. All good but a couple of suggestions to make it perfect - a mirror in the room near a socket would be good when drying hair/ doing make up. Also a saucer or plate for putting used teabags and coffee bags. Thanks. See you again

   Enjoyed a beautiful 3 course Sunday dinner with my partner. We also stayed the night in the lovely Pimlico room with a Superking bed followed by breakfast the following morning. Highly recommended.

   I had my wedding reception at the New Inn and it was perfect. Lucy, Alex, Sian and the whole team went above and beyond to make the day special. Nothing was too much trouble, from designing our own menu to arranging rooms for our guests - they are the ideal choice for an intimate wedding. I can't recommend enough!

   Really friendly place in a good position for touring days out. Food and drink is of a high standard in comfortable and tasteful surroundings. Can get very busy so check if table reservations necessary and be prepared to wai, but worth it. Good value for money and would recommend.

   We booked to come here for a night after our wedding day to have some great food and relax. Been absolutely amazing! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The food was incredible! Stopped over for the night; the room is so nice, bed was extremely comfy! Highly recommend this place and we will definitely be coming back a lot more!

   We dined at the New Inn last night. Fabulous food. A varied (something a little bit different too) menu with enough choice but not 'over facing'. Great portions of very tasty, timely delivered courses. Helpful, very friendly staff. Good luck New Inn, you deserve it.

   We've regularly visited the New Inn since it reopened, but this was our first Sunday Lunch! Starters of Pork Belly and Cauliflower Croquette were full of taste and very filling. Mains included chicken supreme, beef rump, roast pork and ratatouille and cooked to perfection. The chicken, beef and pork traditional Sunday roasts were very generous servings with the beef appropriately pink and full of flavour. The creme brulee remains a star of their deserts! The cheery relaxed atmosphere allowed us to take our time with the staff being attentive and helpful. We eat out frequently but having such a gem close to us is wonderful - see you again soon.

   2 courses for £21 is good value, the starters nice and the Sunday lunch was nice ( not much veg though). The prices for everything else is very steep and unfortunately let’s it down, £27 for a steak and chips ( no peas, no tomatoes no mushrooms nothing) is ridiculous with a 2.50 charge for sauce. £4 for a side of cauliflower cheese and a very small portion at that. We ordered a chicken breast and chips for a child as no children’s menu available, again very steep £7.50 for a bit of chicken and a small handful of chips. Not sure we would return on the basis that a meal at lunch time for 3 adults and 1 child came to £100. However if you were going for just Sunday lunch the deal is better value for money.

   Called in for food after a a trip to Donna Nook. The restaurant side was full and although we hadn't reserved a table they accommodated us in the bar area. They had a log fire burning and the place was fairly cozy. The meal was mediocre considering the cost and the vegetables were very hard/almost raw.

   Great Sunday lunch, professional and attentive young waiting staff, the best Sunday lunch around! and great value for money. Plenty of outdoor space and dogs welcome in the bar area! Highly recommended.
