   Collected our wirehaired dachshund after taking him back to the groom room. He had been previously cut here and we was happy with cut apart from his beard being taken too far back. In this appointment we asked for the same breed standard cut but to leave his beard. I have just collected him and am extremely annoyed at the result of his cut, they have taking all of his top coat off baring a few whisps, his head is too long which gives him no definition to his eyebrows or his beard which they have cut too short once again ( they did ask about his beard and was asked specifically you can shape it but don’t take any length off ). I could have completed this cut with a set of clippers and spare 20mins. I won’t be returning at all and would advise anyone that doesn’t own a bichon frise or cockapoo to find somewhere more competent. Was asked not to raise my voice and was just miscommunication. No I have just paid you £60 plus to cut him properly. 1st picture is of his original cut (generally happy with the cut just too much from his beard). 2nd is of him after just being collected.

   Very professional welcoming groomers! The groomers handled my difficult chihuahua Celine amazingly for her nails. They were so patient with sassy nature and gave her lots of fuss!

   What a fantastic groomers! They treated my little Alfie like the king he is. And I’ve never seen him so happy after a trim. Incredible experience all round. Great management, great staff. Highly recommend! We will be back next month!

   Honestly very disappointed in the groom my dog had today.. he’s still quite a young dog, only just over a year, and this was his first time at a different groomer to the one he’s always gone to since he was a puppy. He’s not a vicious dog in any way and always “gentlemanly” when we’ve taken him places. When we went to pick him up, we could see him on the table busy getting his final tidying done, we stayed out of sight to not get him excited but I could see the lady was visibly annoyed with him and frustrated that he wouldn’t sit still. I saw her yank him back in an exasperated way a few times. I can appreciate that he was probably a bit wiggly and maybe didn’t sit still as much as they would have liked but I’m sure this is a common problem they have when grooming dogs as surely they can’t all just enjoy it. When we went to collect him when we could see he was done, I could still see the lady was annoyed with him and eventually said a comment about how our dog “wasn’t a fan of being groomed.” He’s a very gentle soul and I can’t think that he was vicious at all so the only thing I can think this was based on was the fact that he didn’t sit as still as much as they wanted him to. I don’t think he’s been mistreated but all in all it wasn’t a great experience and based on this, we won’t be returning. If you don’t have the patience to be a dog groomer, then look to change your profession.
