Staff were friendly and informative and even pointed us in the direction of another pet shop that could help with what we needed- they don't sell plecs big enough for our tank so directed us to somewhere that does

Easy to park and access the store. Helpful staff especially the young man who served me at the till. He helped me to download the Pets at home app and set it up on my phone didn't rush me, asked another member of staff to see to waiting customers on the other till. Had 10% off my bill bècause of thè app he and placed all my items in a bag for me which was very helpful as I am disabled.

We called in and had our dog groomed by Chloe, what a wonderful job she had done. Lovely personality and we have rebooted for December brill.

Groom room were brilliant with my Doberman. My Dobie is jittery and doesn’t like strangers so to see her enjoying her pamper session was lovely.

Big shop, good assortment. Doesn't stink too much like many shops. You can look at rabbits, fish and mice. Good range of food and toilet filler.

Groom Room: First time our staffy/bull cross has ever had a groom/pamper! Quality of groom was great & Macca came out as happy as ever is! The customer service we received, however, was far from acceptable! We were advised a 30min return time so we left the store! When we returned to the car park we could what sounded like Macca barking…..from outside! We went in & he was barking loud enough that the staff had ear defenders on but his tail wagging at full pelt! He’s not a fan of the hair dryer! We stood observing from outside the groomers shortly before being moved on as we were “making him worse”! Despite staying out of sight as much as possible inside the main store, Macca continued to bark! We would peek over the shelves & it was always whilst he had the hair dryer on him! Upon collection the groomer tried to direct blame & responsibility on to us for his barking! When we made it clear that he was barking before we arrived & could be heard from outside, that he likely didn’t like the hair dryer she then claimed that yes he was barking but he was fine with the hair dryer (despite what we saw)! She also claimed that we were asked to move away because when he saw us he was becoming distracted & kept trying to climb off the table…that he was leashed to & couldn’t even get within 6” of the edge if he tried! As we stood being passive aggressively scolded, she continued by claiming the reason they tell us [customers/owners] to not watch by the window is to avoid what happened…..yeah, we were never told anything but “30mins”! I found the groomer to be very rude in attempting to deflect blame & responsibility for her inability to manage Macca appropriately! Suffice to say we won’t be using the services of the Groom Room at Festival Park again!

Subsequent staff were lovely, but the first woman I encountered with my query (name badge was half covered, but started with ‘Pe…’) could do with customer service training. I was barked at and her overall manner was utterly appalling in dealing with my quandary. Would have cost a sale, but I chose to query further (as I didn’t have faith in what she’d told me) with a more approachable & helpful member of staff.

Perfect place for all pet needs. My "old man", Bolt (staffy) loved his frozen yoghurt and new coats

Waited over 30 minutes for someone so I could buy over £75 of fish. Was told that I would have to wait a few minutes due to the store being very busy which I accepted no problem. However said store person then proceeded to carry on filling shelves along with 2 others despite the 'business'. After 30 minutes I explained I would not wait any longer and left. Lost my custom and appeared like they couldn't care less.

Didn't have food we needed and told it would be 9 day wait for it! Not very useful, got to order it on-line instead. Wide range of goods available for all sorts of pets even hedgehogs! Pets look well looked after and vets practice and groomers also inshore. Easy parking but busy car park.
