I got all I needed. I bought some Christmas discounted decorations for 2023. The staff are friendly. The shop shelves were organised.

We went to harpur centre store with my daughter. We gave 10 pound note to pay was expecting change. Cashier gave us a torn 5 pound note. When we noted that inquired another one she told that it was the last one. Then we said we don't mind coins. She appeared annoyed . I feel its better if she would have been honest to customers and told she didn't have notes, then we would have waited until she collected change for us. I felt it was rude to return torn notes for customers. Honesty is important in businesses.

No frills store with appalling waiting times to be served. Not the cleanest store, so make sure you sanitise your hands when leaving.

When I came newly to this country I thought everything was for £1. But as I went inside I was not expecting to see items and foods that cost more than £1 so I kind of amazed laughing. I just imagined perhaps this market is £1 but I knew if it were for all £1 the market would have been empty. I mean it is a good supermarket, something I can afford. I do not go to there that often unless maybe if am bored and need something to eat.

This store has been here for a while and it's falling apart. Typical with poundland locations, they let the place crumble and rarely invest in refurbishment. The store is also very untidy with a lack of staff, stock all over the floor due to customers with no respect and no staff to clear it up. The only good thing is the prices. The queues are long and the place is a right mess. You could defend it and say its cheap so it's to be expected, but places like b&m are even cheaper and in a better state.

Everything is a pound! Unfortunately, it is also all shite. Service is ok but they clearly don't pay the staff enough to smile. If you want something to only last a few weeks or just want some multipack sweets it might do the trick but really, you can do better
