   This is a budget shop packed with products at great prices; it seems a little smaller than some of the others in the chain but it is well laid out and the staff take a pride in their work ensuring that products are properly displayed and shelves kept well stocked. It is a very handy resource with everything you could need for the home and garden. Over recent years the range of food products on offer has increased and there are often special offers. Not much available at £1 anymore but still great value for money.

   My wife who is partially sighted went in with her white cane. When she wanted to pay for the shopping, she did get confused about the till set up!!! The back of the tills was not closed off, with no one present and she didn't see away to the front of them. So my wife thought it must be self scan and headed to the back of them. A member of staff walked over and yelled at her saying she wasn't allowed there and pointed at the other side. My wife eventually found the correct place with no help and paid then left. She told me the staff member made her feel like something she'd walked in and that she felt useless!!! My wife has low confidence to begin with but that shop assistant has left her with no confidence and now my wife will not leave our home on her own. So congratulations Poundland, thanks to you, we now have to start all the hard work again in order for my wife to become independent and brave enough to go out by herself!!!! We will not be spending any money with you, ever!!!

   Very presentable well displayed not a fan of the Christmas decorations already. Bah humbug but otherwise the staff was very friendly and helpful and nicely presented themselves which is a delight to see
