   We are so happy we found Cottage Cattery. We needed longer-term boarding for our two cats while we waited for our house purchase to complete, which ended up taking much longer than expected. Sonja was very understanding and communicative, letting us visit once a week to let them know we hadn’t forgotten them. Many thanks Sonja for caring for Zulu and Julia.

   My cat has been going here a couple of times now. The place is lovely and the owner is very friendly. My cat seems really settled when she stays. I am always happy with the care that she gets and I always feel at ease when I leave her there. I would definitely Recommend it.

   Very well priced and incredibly flexible with drop off / opening times. Pens are warm and look clean. Communication from owners was excellent. However, they have capacity to take on a huge number of cats at once, meaning the cats don’t get much attention, and the pens are very small without any toys provided. Our cat stayed over the Christmas period and sadly came home with bald patches and grazes behind both ears, I assume from over grooming / rubbing herself on something rough in the pen she was in due to anxiety / lack of attention, which I’ve never know her to do in any other cattery. Appreciate when she stayed is likely to be a time of very low staffing, so perhaps it’s not like this all year round.

   My two cats stayed here in October / November 2023 The communication from the owner was good, it was prompt, relevant and ensured I knew what to expect with my booking (costs, opening times etc) I was disappointed when I realised the cats don't have access to an outside breeze, they have a safe and secure unit with a run however that is all within a secure building (very safe and secure) however I do wonder if in warmer months, a cat used to outdoor access may not be as comfortable. However that's a reflection on my preference, the cats had a good experience, came home happy, no health issues due to any stress so they must have been both OK through their stay. I would recommend more for cats that only stay indoors

   Its a lovely place to leave your cat. Sonja is a lovely lady and she looks after my cat really well. The cattery is very colourful and is kept heated in the winter time. I would recommend it to anyone your cat is safe and well looked after.
