   The supported housing experience was extremely disappointing ! They originally phoned to offer me supported housing with a shared property but because I had my own flat that wasn't secure, unsafe to live in, was vulnerable and I didn't want to be there, they wouldn't offer me anywhere. They suggested a shared property in the location I was willing to go, that would of been close to family and would of helped me so much, then pulled the rug from underneath me and kept saying we'll get you support from an outside source in your own flat! I told them numerous times that I DID NOT want to stay in that flat or in Newcastle-under-Lyme. They flat out rejected me getting the help I need from them, to be in a property with another person, so I wouldnt be alone because I've been so scared and it was a place I was familiar with and close to family where I know I would of felt safer and comfortable! They wouldn't offer it to me! Absolutely appalling service. You make people worse, not better. Thanks for nothing!!

   My partner was in a really bad way mentally and was trying to find some help and assistance as they were really really struggling. Got told that the therapy sessions were £40 a session after a form, phone call and waiting list that could be as long as any other. Then asked about support group and were told it was full of depressing old people. I must congratulate them of the most disgusting and disappointing service I’ve ever witnessed. I hope you really consider what kind of people you have “working” for this charity My partner was reaching out because there was no where else to turn and they got turned away as soon as possible

   I went to North Staffs Mind and it went really badly the councillor she really bad and nasty she push me in to taking my own life. Now I have thousands of SCARS and i have been told I have ptsd thanks to north staffs mind the manger and staffs just don't care And the ceo condoned the bad treatment!. And all they do is lie And they keep taking my review down show they are bad people please every one stay away from North staffs mind.

   I went to mind And it did not go to well I did an interview with one of the workers i told them everything And thay seid they can help great I fort. Well got to see the councilor and thing just fell apart For one thing did not seem to care at all and did not listen to me at all The was no going forward not even a little bit I felt I was wasting my time going here At the end I felt alone and depressed I really can't recommend this place at all Right now I am look for some were better than north staffs mind to go to.

   I have all ways try to keep my mental state in a positive mood As I suffer with depression so sided to give mind a try I wish I never came here. The councilor was mean and the manager and some of the chairmen well let's just say thay really dislike people with problems.. I will avoil any thing to do with mind.....

The service from start to finish was caring and made me feel like I was in the best hands, including the reception staff being welcoming and understanding. I am in the best place I have been in a long time thanks to the work I did with my counsellor. I would always recommend this service. Thank you.

   I really enjoyed doing my CBT with Amanda, I felt that she was very reassuring, never put me down or made me feel like my feelings were invalid. she did a great job explaining the things I learnt during my cbt and was calm when I got upset. this place sadly has a bad rep, but I do believe there are good counsellors and bad counsellors, you just need to find the right ones you feel comfortable with.
