WARNING DO NOT COME HERE AT NIGHT!!! It’s dark cold and eerie, we went there in September there was satanist drawings, crosses and writing. If you come here be warned that you may not come back.
Nice drive across the peaks to get here. We didn't get to see a mermaid,very disappointing. But the views around there are worth the drive.
Pleasant location. Very limited parking on a busy narrow road. Great views extending in all directions. Footpath near the pool, but a rough walk down to it. Access not suitable for people with mobility issues. A nice little stop off if passing, but not worth making a special outing to visit.

It's a big lake at the top of a hill been to this place twice now & both times it was windy enough to blow you off your feet, but on saying the views in every direction are worth it!
Swam there two days this week. Road right next to it, but great for a dip.
Nice and quiet (not many other people around) so very peaceful. However the water is not for the faint-hearted as it’s quite brown. Once in the water, was very pleasant to swim. Signs say don’t swim but we did #yolo
Scary in strong winds, but the awesome views are certainly worth the trauma. Tough to find anywhere to pull in as verges all looked soft.
Not the most pleasant of wild swimming locations. Apparently there is some scrap metal in there. Plenty of signs warning you of submerged objects. Right next to the road.
