Male chinese guy who works here needs to watch how he speaks to customers, im absolutely disgusted you employ someone who thinks its acceptable to swear at pensioner's and shout abuse and punch the till desk . Shocking behaviour if the area or store manager can please get intouch with a email or contact number I would be very grateful. Thanks .
You never know what you are going to have to pay until you get to the counter. I was seriously overcharged one day last year, basically charged double . Noticed before I left the store and went back to the till , a nasty young woman. Refused to rectify the problem. I asked to speak to the manager and some tall girl with short hair showed up ,claiming to be the manager, but was a supervisor and she claimed they were allowed to charge whatever they like . They ridiculed me for being disabled and they showed complete discrimination.They totally refused to refund what they overcharged. I stated that I would ring head office and I was told I was barred from the shop now. Since spoke to the real manager Sean who didn't give a damn . Now in talks with Gordon bros. The majority of the staff in here are great but they need to get rid of the nasties.
Guy with dark brown long hair beard and glasses who works behind the tills gave me the creeps asking 101 questions about my day and life when I was trying to just do my shopping and leave. I noticed he did it to the person Infront of me too. Some may say it's pleasant but it was very intrusive and I felt extremely uncomfortable I was being quiet and he did not stop asking questions.
Today at Poundland a book of I e cream was marked down, because there was one missing. Actually there were two missing. The second had melted away, after the mark down, probably because it was so hot outside.
All good, large selection of house hold goods, food and hardwares for DIY. Also now sells Pep&Co clothing Staff helpful and friendly
Always get great bargains here. Only one bug bear, never any Mars Bars when I go in. Always carry one with being diabetic as they have glucose in. Please stock up more of these in all your stores.
Can get very busy during the day but has alot of stuff available most times, unfortunately wouldn't recommend the shoes there as mine fell apart after a week
Ground floor shop wide aisles good access for wheelchair users and baby buggies. Disabled persons parking at the side of the building. No on-site parking. Able bodied have to park on the multi story or at Aldi(time limited) or in garden street all not too far away. Bus station close to. The doors on the building are not automatic so could pose a slight problem for wheelchair users as they are quite heavy. Good stocks of almost anything you could want. Have recently started selling clothes. A busy popular shop.
Very busy store. Great bargains lovely helpful staff. Large queues quickly go down. Centre of town behind the market.
