“Portable Parties were incredible. From start to finish. The guys arrived to install and talked us through everything, they went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and confident with it. Our guests loved it! It was for a 40th birthday party, we rolled out the red carpet and created the night club for “after party” and it worked brilliantly. I would absolutely book this again, we shared all the details with friends so I’m sure I’ll be dancing in one again very soon! I’d give more stars if I could!”

“Great service. Booking online was easy and unlike two other companies I tried to book, wasn't then randomly cancelled due to not being able to deliver that day! A week before the party I had a worry moment but they sent a reassuring email confirming everything was fine with my booking. They texted me the day before confirming the delivery time. Delivery was great, setup fast, no problems whatsoever! Pickup was at a good time when the kids had tired themselves out and the staff were friendly, polite and efficient. Equipment was clean and in good condition, lots of fun had by everyone! Thanks very much!”

Food consistently good and staff friendly and helpful.drinks reasonably priced, and hot drinks options too for designated drivers! “We stayed for just 1 night and was very pleasantly surprised. From the convenience of the free car park, to the friendly welcome on arrival (and throughout our stay), this is a very inviting place to stay. The room was good, being very clean and well equipped. Being on the front of the building, we wondered about High Street traffic, but it was fine, thanks to noise reducing windows. Nice clean towels and liquid soap and shower gel, along with kettle and tea and coffee, made this a very convenient room to stay in. The pub is nicely finished and, again, very welcoming with very professional, confident and positive / happy staff. Drinks were good, and the atmosphere is inviting. Being right on the High Street is also very convenient for a stroll through Coleshill. For the price, facilities, convenience and welcome I will not hesitate to stay again. After staying in a whole range of hotels around the world, right up to 5 star 'plastic' hotels, I would always now go for a place like the Coleshill. It is a far more intimate, friendly and welcoming stay!”

“Very good rustic hotel. It looks more like a house with a lot of bedrooms for guests. The staf is very kind and I loved the simple breakfast served in the morning. I enjoyed staying in here.”

“We visited this lovely location over the weekend with 2 other families. I must say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the children. The hotel staff were very hospitable and welcoming. Our first meal was at the bar and grill, the staff ensured the children were well served, offered them ice cream and marshmallows on the house since they did not have it in the buffet menu. There is plenty of space around the club for the kids to run about and explore. Ample parking and good location. I would like to mention Matthew at the bar and grill who was extremely helpful. We used the leisure club - swimming , steam and sauna. The only suggestion I would have is to have another pool a bit deeper for adults. Difficult to swim since it's not above 4 feet . Having said that the pool was safe for kids. They have electric car - 4stations charging which was very useful for us. I would recommend this place for a great weekend break!”

“​The Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport-NEC truly exceeded expectations and ranks as the best Holiday Inn I have stayed at to date. ​The quality of the accommodation was excellent. The room was modern, impeccably clean, and provided a comfortable base for my stay. ​However, the real highlight was the food. The Open Lobby Restaurant offers a dining experience far superior to its competitors. Breakfast was well-cooked with a great selection to start the day. Crucially, the evening meals were excellent—a significant step up from other Holiday Inns—and were genuinely worth the money. It's rare for hotel dining to be a key selling point, but here, it absolutely is.”

“Very nice hotel, unfortunate that it was raining when we went there but the beer garden looked very pretty. Food was excellent, servers and reception staff were both friendly and helpful, and the proximity to the bus that goes straight to NEC and the airport was very convenient. My only complaint would be that for some reason theres no towel rails in the bathroom, so you have to leave your towels on the toilet seat or some other inconvenient spot. Not annoying enough to dock them a star tho, so 5 stars.”

“Recently stayed here as we had been gifted a two night stay. Can definitely say we were very pleased with everything. The room was clean, comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful. Bartender with the ponytail (unfortunately didn’t get his name) was friendly and a great credit to the hotel.”
