“Great university. People are kind and the local town has just about everything you need. Nightlife is also great with a club on campus or in the nearby town depending on how you’re feeling. The lake is also a great place to just sit and relax in the sun.”
“Watched THE PERFORMANCE at Glenmore House, Surbiton. Fantastic Talent and Thoroughly Entertained. Keep up the Good Work.”
“Did a year here and the LSF exams way back in time. Beautiful grounds and a place never to forget. The best. Enjoyed my year in Guildford and at the college very much. Has one of the best reputations around for being The Law school to go to. The LSF exams were stressful and difficult but thankfully they have now changed for new students.”
“We had an amazing birthday party for our 8 year old today at the animal centre. The kids enjoyed themselves so much. Charlotte and Beth, who looked after us, were brilliant and so knowledgeable. They handled our group with ease and made it so much fun for the kids as well as the adults. Just a huge thank you and to any parents thinking about it booking this for their little ones - do not hesitate! They will love it!!”
“Very helpful and professional. The staff were friendly and courteous and they gave a very good impression of the University.”
“I've been attending the academy for around 2 years now and I can truthfully say I've learnt more than I ever thought I would, and I've enjoyed every minute of it! Every session is filled with a contagious buzz energy, and fun and educational workshops, games and projects which teach the students how to act and perform on stage, aswell as how to act in front of and work behind the camera. If you love to act, film, perform, dance, or maybe just want to grow your confidence a little, than this is the place for you! Super 8 is simply great!”
“We had a great experience in the summer camp this year. The teachers were amazing looking after the kids while they learn a lot in a safe environment for development. My daughter had a great time.”
“Supportive team , very professional”
“brilliant, this is the place to be”
“My kids had a fantastic week with Lewis and his team. They've learnt performing on stage whilst having fun. Lewis is very professional and nurturing. It's definitely a highlight of the summer holiday.”
“I can only praise the hard work of all the staff particularly subject teachers, form tutors and heads of year who recognise the strengths and weakness in the students and work with them to ensure that they reach their maximum potential.”
“A very supportive college with helpful and understanding staff. They will guide you in your education and give you the support you need, unlike a lot of other 'higher status' colleges in the area that will just leave you to it and expell you if you're not likely to achieve high grades as to keep their status up. If you're looking for a place that will make sure you learn then go here. I studied here 4 years ago and have had a good career ever since.”
“Good school. Impressed with the senior leadership's direction and management. Pastoral care is strong and academic standards are on the up.”
“PPA is by far one of the best Performing Arts colleges, for both Musical Theatre and Acting!! I am very proud to say that I am a student here. I completed my Foundation course in June this year and I am embarking upon my 3 year BA(Hons) in Musical Theatre course from next month. I decided to stay at PPA to continue my training as it's a very supportive, family-orientated college who cater to your every need! ALL the staff are friendly and welcoming who push you and challenge you to reach your full potential and give you endless advice on how to fully develop your skills in all 3 disciplines. All of the teaching staff are either current or ex-industry professionals, which gives us a true insight into what the industry currently is/what it was and what we will expect once we've graduated. Louise and Costa (the principal and vice principal) are so organised with ensuring we have everything we possibly need to ensuring we have the best training we can get and we are all so thankful for that! The amount of extra hours they put in amazes me! They honestly care for us all so so much and it's so lovely to know they will go above and beyond to ensure we get the most out of our training! ALL the staff know each and every single students name, which is very nice as they get to know you on a personal level and you feel like you're wanted, most of the other drama schools forget this is a HUGE part to a students development, feeling welcomed! So, I love that PPA makes a big deal out of getting to know everyone, so that no one feels left out or alone. I am eternally grateful for the training I've received at PPA up to now, and I am so looking forward to the next 3 years! All I'm saying is that if you are thinking of auditioning here, then DO IT!! You'll have the best 3 or maybe even 4 years of your life! #PLACETOBE.”
