“Could not recommend more - we took the Introduction to Silver Smithing workshop with Alys a week or so ago and I have been wearing the rings I made every day since! :) It is truly an introductory course, so even if - like me - me you have never worked with silver or metals in general before, I guarantee you will be able to make something cool to show off to your friends and family ;) And you'll have so much fun too! Alys did a amazing job of explaining the basics of working with silver, made sure to help everyone with their individual projects, and created a friendly, relaxed atmosphere all around. “We had a wonderful time at the workshop. I attended with my friend as a gift for her 30th birthday. I was travelling from Australia and met my friend from the UK. They remained so flexible for us even when trains were cancelled. We practised on bronze rings before moving on to silver.
