“After a lifetime of being an employee, and with some experience of completing my own Self-Assessment tax returns, I felt it was nevertheless wise to seek guidance when coming to complete my first Tax Return as self-employed. Having looked at various options online, I decided that I preferred the first-hand, face to face approach and called into the Tax Assist office in Bridgnorth. So glad I did. In just a few minutes I knew I had made the right decision as Bradley patiently answered my questions and immediately put me right on a couple of misunderstandings on my part. In the end, the process was easy and, for what I consider to be a very modest fee, relieved me of the burden of having to plough through endless pages of notes and guidance whilst giving me the reassurance that what would be submitted would be absolutely correct. Mindful of 'you don't know what you don't know', the last thing I wanted was to make an amateurish return full of errors. A further visit to the office when Simon was able to quickly clear up an associated query served to reinforce my sense that I had definitely made the right choice in going to people who deal with this stuff every day. All in all, I found the chaps at Tax Assist Bridgnorth to be helpful, friendly, efficient and very knowledgeable. I would thoroughly recommend them, particularly to those who are venturing into SA for the first time.”
