   Came here as a society for our group Christmas social and couldn't have had a better experience! Food was excellent and all the staff did a great job at getting the food to us in a timely manner considering we were a group of almost 40 people. However, special shout out must go to Ellen who was our main server of the night! She was both incredibly kind and patient as well as being just a joy to interact with the whole evening. Even when most of our group had to leave abruptly to go ice skating, she was incredibly professional and helpful in helping us figure out the bill at the end. So huge thankyou to her and the rest of the staff for making our evening so great!

   The service at this restaurant was good — the staff was friendly and attentive. The pizza was just okay, nothing special. The lasagna, however, was a bit disappointing, with very little meat and not much flavor overall. I’m sure you can find better options around.

   My wife had quite a few Tesco Clubcard vouchers to spend, so she converted them and treated us to lunch here. From the Romana section of the menu, we opted for four Pizzas. The Calabrian Feast which had 'nduja, Calabrese sausage, pepperoni, pancetta, and a slight chilli kick. The Padana, which had goat's cheese, caramelised onions, and spinach. The Garlic Prawn which was pretty much what the name suggested. The Funghi di Bosco, which was a mushroom laden offering. For me, all of them were great, but the Calabrian Feast and the Padana were by far the best. For drinks, I had a can of PizzaExpress Birthday Brew beer, and the rest opted for a litre bottle of Acqua Panna Still Mineral Water. The beer wasn't as nice as their regular own-brand one, but I had to try it as it was limited edition for their 60th anniversary. Our server was great with us. She put the vouchers through to cover the food (they don't accept them for drinks), and then it turned out I also had a gift card from work, so she put that through too to cover most of the drinks. I paid for the small remaining amount and a tip on my credit card, but not before I made a silly mistake on the terminal and she had to go back to reset it. She had the patience of a saint!

   I ordered an hot chocolate which arrived within minutes, but it was disgusting! It didn't taste of chocolate, just milk, I so sent it back. The replacement was perfect, with a heart shape on the top, which wasn't there the first time! My daughter and I ordered a margarita to share with garlic bread. After about 5 minutes, a very small garlic bread arrived and plonked on the table. We just looked at it for a while in disbelief that: 1. We expected it with our pizza 2. It was so tiny, probably the size of my hand! 3. A rip off for £6.35 Later, our pizza arrived, which was nice, but not the best. The tomato topping is tasteless, we've had better tasting frozen pizza for a fraction of the price! Never again!!

   Excellent experience with extremely fast service! To start, three cheese dough balls that were really hot and fresh, shortly after this we received our mains, which were very high quality pizzas, things such as garlic oil and Parmesan were provided to put as much as we wanted, and a piece of carrot cake with a cappuccino to finish… Bliss! The app was easy to get the hang of once the lovely waitress showed us how to use it, we paid our bill via the app so there was no sitting around and waiting. Can’t fault it! Amazing!

   Really lovely food as always at pizza express. Went here with my mum, sister and boyfriend for lunch time. We had dough balls, pizzas and a vegan salad bowl, then followed with brownies and cheesecake. Only thing I would rate down on is that it was hard to get anyone's attention, they seemed to forget about us a bit.

   The place was fairly full with diners. The atmosphere including the staff was welcoming. My friend and I enjoyed our pizzas and sides. They have a separate vegan menu which was good for my friend. A few fixable downsides, they didn't serve orange juice and they only offer two vegan desserts.
