Great place! Proper bar vibes. Great staff. The food, we tried a few things. Ribs are a 10. The pie was 10 the burrito bomb was a let down. Over cooked short rib and undercooked dough. However was so stuffed from the pie and ribs. Would I go back. Yes 100%.

My girlfriend and I are big pizza lovers and eat it everywhere we go, but this was our first time trying Chicago style. We were absolutely blown away, honestly one of the best pizzas we’ve had. Be warned portions are huge and you will leave very full, but you won’t regret it because it’s so tasty. Staff were really friendly. Just be aware there’s a service charge and a donation added to the bill at the end.

Visited for tea on a weekday. The food was really good. We ordered the Chicago style deep dish pizza - which was really nice. Very similar to the ones we'd had in Chicago a few years ago. We also ordered a Detroit garlic bread which was great! The staff were friendly and efficient throughout. Overall I'd recommend this place if you're looking for a pizza place in Manchester that's a little bit more unique!

The atmosphere and the service was great, nothing to fault there, the staff were friendly, the location is nice, etc. The food however, leaves something to be desired. We ordered the carbonara spring rolls, the buffalo wings, and a Chicago deep dish. The carbonara spring rolls were rather dry, there was no sauce inside of the spring rolls themselves, it was essentially pastry and dry spaghetti, the “carbonara sauce” was separate, and even that was very oily and thick. The wings were nothing short of horrible to be honest. They felt like they were not freshly fried, they felt like they were 3 days old, lukewarm and very dry. The Chicago deep dish was the best thing out of all, it was nicely cooked, good flavours, nice and cheesy, however it did take like 30-40mins to arrive at the table. Overall I wouldn’t go again, glad I tried it cause it looked nice in pictures and videos, but in my opinion this is one of those visually appealing spots where the food looks good in pictures but not so much in person.

Me and Boyfriend recently visited American Pies Manchester and the experience was, absolutely fantastic! If you are looking for authentic American comfort food done right, this is your new go to spot. The food was truly amazing. The pizza is spot-on, perfectly cooked with great toppings and a satisfying crust. The ribs are tender, flavourful, and fall right off the bone. And don't skip the garlic bread. Everything we ordered exceeded our expectations.

Visited American Pies Mcr as a late Valentine day meal and it didn’t disappoint! Chicago themed restaurant with a slight Canadian twist. On our visit we ordered the Ski Sharer, which was essentially a tapas board full of multiple things from the menu. My only negative was they served bottled beers which was kind of warm! We really enjoyed the meal and would definitely visit again. The waiter who was serving us that night was really friendly and created a great atmosphere. However one of the women members of staff didn’t give off a great vibe, wasn’t friendly or welcoming

An amazing small place in the heart of Manchester serving original ideas. The food is delicious, and as for the service staff were very helpful and welcoming since the time we arrived. We tried the fondue, and I'd definitely recommend it if you love cheese. In general, this restaurant is a must visit for any food lover that finds themselves in Manchester. All the best, and we'll be back again soon.

The food here is absolutely divine. So so yummy and plenty of choice. The restaurant gets far too hot, and that’s in November so dread to think how it feels in summer. Also I dislike the “discretionary service charge” that’s automatically added to your bill at £9 odd! And a further £1 for “carbon free dining”. Making you look tight if you ask them to remove the tip. Usually tip anyway but leaves a sour taste when it’s forced and at nearly £10!

We expected another menu based on the images from google maps but it turns out that the breakfast sharing item was from another branch. The cheese was melted well and the pepperoni and tomato sauce was not too salty, one of the best Chicago pizzas I have had in the UK. The staff were slightly abrasive but all in all our experience was fantastic. That’s why I give 5 stars.
