Ordered from here for a lot of years , pizza was very dry and over cooked tonight . First time we were disappointed
I had a highly unsatisfactory experience with Pizza Time takeaway. When I called to place my order, the customer service was not only rude but also unhelpful, reflecting a lack of professionalism. To make matters worse, I was charged more than the prices indicated on the menu. Given these issues, I regret to say that I will not be ordering from them again.
The staff exhibits a concerning level of rudeness, particularly the person in charge of phone orders, who seems to lack basic communication skills. This individual appears to mistakenly believe that food is provided free of charge, as evidenced by their unprofessional conduct during phone calls. They often respond in a curt manner and show little willingness to accommodate requests for modifications, frequently suggesting that customers seek alternatives elsewhere. Furthermore, the quality of the food is unsatisfactory, often appearing stale, overcooked, and excessively greasy. It is essential for the owner to prioritise customer service training for the staff and improving the quality of the food .
Dear Manager / Owner, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the unacceptable behaviour of one of your staff members during a telephone order placed on [date] at approximately 20:36 hours. We are regular customers and work with Amazon, frequently ordering food from local businesses such as yours. During the call, we ordered three pizzas and politely requested some extra sauces. The staff member who answered the phone responded in a rude and dismissive manner, stating words to the effect of “we only put one or two, don’t ask for more”, which made us feel embarrassed and disrespected as customers. When we explained that this language was inappropriate, the staff member further escalated the situation by telling us to “buy pizza from another place,” refused to take our order, and abruptly disconnected the call. We called again, and the same individual answered. Upon our request, the call was eventually transferred to another staff member, through whom we were finally able to place our order. While we appreciate that the order was completed, the initial conduct was unprofessional and unacceptable. Please note that such behaviour may be in breach of UK consumer protection and equality standards, including but not limited to: The Consumer Rights Act 2015, which requires services to be provided with reasonable care and skill. The Equality Act 2010, which protects customers from harassment and discriminatory or degrading treatment. Trading Standards guidance, which expects businesses to treat customers fairly, respectfully, and without intimidation. We trust that you will investigate this matter seriously, take appropriate disciplinary action, and ensure staff receive proper training in customer service and professional conduct. If no action is taken, we reserve the right to escalate this matter to local Trading Standards, the local council, and other relevant authorities, as well as to formally record our experience through appropriate consumer feedback channels. We value local businesses and would prefer to continue ordering from your establishment, provided that customers are treated with respect and professionalism. first of all, why is there a neon green glowing sauce?? second of all, the lamb rogan josh included more oil than lamb! thirdly, the inside of the building is disgusting filthy and desperately needs a clean, i honestly don’t know how that isn’t reported to hygienic authorities. the rice was stone cold, the mixed starter was vile and drenched in grease with no fresh flavour to it. however i give one star, because the popadoms and chips were acceptable. i saw the cooks place a raw frozen beef patty next to a cooked tikka kebab, cross contamination?!?! whoever owns or runs this company please educate yourself and staff on HYGIENE, CROSS CONTAMINATION, AND HOW TO COOK!!!
Over oily , oil and food all over bottom of bag , hair in food , weird bleach smell coming from chips and donner meat , very poorly packaged , opened bag and kebab fell out all over floor as it was just wrapped in foil (1 layer of foil ) , this was 1st time ordering and will definitely be the last , I advise people to order from elsewhere !!
Waited over an hour for delivery to phone & be told they took it to wrong address. No phone call to get the right address, no apology, offered to send the order again but we didn't fancy cold or reheated food especially after waiting so long. Shame they've just lost our custom.
Horrid food, off the bone was a lie, it was more like lumps of fat n' gristle in gravy... with chips. Vomited violently before I could finish, rest went in the bin. That free delivery on orders over £8 ... utter garbage, was charged for delivery. NOT RECOMMENDED :( Won't be back.
Food was wrong when dilivered So had to wait for missing bits then heat up the other bit Onion bargi was a tooth breaker it was so over cooked They also managed the amazing skill of make the curry too hot but also bland One of the worst, if not the worst curry I have ever had Will gladly pay the extra delivery and get it from the Ruchi next time
I can't thank these guys well enough I ordered at 11;59 system was prob off but order still went true an took the balance for the food I also rang before I placed my order to see could I order qn they yes that's no problem but my order didn't go true it ordered for tomorrow.... but the guys let me order my food an the food was piping hot an gourges chips were frsh an crispy not soggy like any other place I'd highly recommend PIZZA TIME good service with delivery even bring fresh cream for your milkshakes an serve it at your door MILKSHAKES are amazing by the way highly highly recommend this place
