What a lovely place to eat. The food is amazing, wasn't waiting very long either. The biggest shout out must go to Jemma and Becky for their professional attitude to the customer needs, making me feel very welcome, friendly and did everything to help me. Dont get service like this at many places. Company must be very proud having these two members of staff. Will definitely return for some more scrumptious food in the near future.

Me and my husband went for our anniversary and had our newborn baby and a dog, we were seated outside and despite it being a cool evening we were very toasty under the heat lamps! Despite being outside we were not forgotten! We were regularly checked on by Becky and Jemma who made sure our evening was special, when we ordered our desert they took the extra step and made it look so amazing!! We even asked for a little pot of whipped cream for our dog and they brought out a pot of cream with carrots as a treat for her, we couldn’t have been more happy! We were planning on going somewhere for drinks after our meal but was enjoying ourselves and the view so much we stayed where we were! It was hard to navigate my pram through the restaurant but Jemma went out of her way moving the furniture to ensure I could get by with ease and held the doors open. Would love to come back another time and very much recommend for anyone to go and have a great time!

Had a great experience at ASK Italian. The pizza and calzone were both very tasty – the base was spot on, light but with the right crisp. Really impressed with the quality. A special mention to Sophie, who was only on her second day but did a fantastic job. She was very attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Great service really made the meal even better. Definitely recommend!

Visited this evening for a Birthday meal with my parents, the staff were amazing, friendliest people you could ever wish to meet. The food was great, I had olives and seafood linguine, Mum had lasagne, then we had the sharing plate desert to finish. Enjoyed every second, 10/10 recommend and will definitely be visiting again!

Stopped here for a lunch with the kids. There were good options for all of us (including good children's menu) and a number of vegan choices. Service was efficient and it was lovely to sit outside on the terrace on a sunny afternoon

Service by the host welcoming us was good, starters nice but mains were not great; over cooked pasta lacked flavor and pizza so thin and tasted like a pizza from the supermarket. For a main dish that cost 15-16 pound you expect a lot more. Not worth the money. 3 of us meal was 100£. Only plus - Staff are nice and restaurant is done out nicely.

Honestly disappointed and I won’t be going back. We arrived with my assistance dog hoping to sit inside where it’s be a bit cooler but was told I had to go round the outside of the restaurant and sit outside on the balcony and couldn’t walk through the restaurant “because of the dog” and despite that being against the law (equality act 2010) I didn’t want confrontation so we complied. The starters (folded garlic bread and arancini) were delicious although it was a bit odd that the hot arancini was served in a cold tomato sauce. Desserts (tiramisu and chocolate orange tart), were also lovely, however the main courses let the meal down. I had the pasta with chicken in white wine sauce, the sauce was split meaning it was extremely greasy as the oils had separated from the grey cream sauce, and the dish had no flavour other than the thyme mixed through it. My partner had the linguini with seafood and said the tomato sauce was so overpowering you couldn’t taste anything else and the seafood was over cooked and rubbery (he’s a chef so this was extremely disappointing for him). We both left more than half of our mains.

I booked a few hours in advance. I had great personal service. No need to use the app. The waitress was excellent, timely, polite and friendly. The beer was cold and tasty, exactly what was required on very warm March day. The salami pizzas and the pulled beef were really excellent! I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience! Well done Ask Italian, you are doing it right!
