We came to the lemon tree and were blown away by the selection of gluten free options. The food was so tasty and the service was super friendly and the facilities were incredibly clean. I would definitely recommend and if im back in the area I will definitely come back again.
A great find. The dogs in our party were made very welcome, there was a delicious selection of GF cakes and plenty of GF options for savory items. Even free parking just behind the cafe. Perfect place to break a journey.
Stopped here to grab a bacon sandwich with a cuppa whilst out cycling. I regularly stop here on this particular route I do. Was invited in and was told by the waitress to wait to be seated. Happy days. A few minutes later they came back and told me there was no room although there was two empty tables which they initially planned to sit me at one. Greedy cafe owners showing terrible customer service. Hi In reply to your comments and many thanks for that.. Let me talk through what I experienced.. I walked in to be kindly greeted by your waitress who told me there was a seat available and wait 2 minutes to be seated. I was stood next to the kitchen door. I over heard an middle age man who had taken a phone call after I arrived telling a customer on the phone to come down now and you’ll squeeze them in however you informed them you were busy and they would be a short waiting time for food. From this your waitress came over and informed me you could no longer accommodate me. I explained I would only stay for a short period as I was stopping by to warm up but this was declined. Had it been explained that you was too busy to begin with and not been welcomed in I wouldn’t be writing this review. The greedy part of the review has purely come from what I overheard/experience as to me it came across that you had better custom on its way to you. I’m entitled to that opinion. I regularly use your cafe when I’m over that way however to be treated like this was unacceptable.
Lovely friendly staff with a scrumptious breakfast! My daughter loves her fried eggs white only (don't ask) and they were more than happy to accommodate. Highly recommended for a breakfast!
Popped in for morning coffee and cake. Dog friendly (back room only). Plenty of choices of baked goodies. Lots of customers were having a full English breakfast. So pleased it was opened on a Sunday! We needed refreshments after a long walk!
