The dessert room is located on the second floor. First time trying Mango SAGO and wow what a treat. The Frozen ice was an interesting choice as well, very light and enjoyable. Would recommend this place if you in the area.

This restaurant was a nice surprise within Manchester. The sashimi was generous and of nice quality for the price of the dish we had, even matching some meals I had in Japan (around 14.50) as well as the sushi. Our drinks were ok but I don't think you'd be going here for that alone as theyre nothing amazing. The atmosphere was nice, classic conveyorbelt sushi environment but it was also kind of... uninteresting. Overall, a 4/5 experience.

Wazuzhi • Formerly known as Wasabi Sushi, Wazuzhi serves Japanese staples from Tempura, Sashimi, Ramen to Teppanyaki, Donburi, Chirashi bowls and Steamed rice dishes. We sampled the following: 》Soft Shell Crab on spicy Udon 》Salmon Roll 》Ebi Katsu with tonkatsu sauce 》Breaded Korean oysters Pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food from the fresh salmon roll, perfectly cooked ebi katsu and breaded oysters plus the hearty spicy udon. The contrast in textures and balanced flavours made this meal satisfying. I've always loved the idea of choosing your fave sushi plates from a revolving conveyor belt so I got excited when I saw that they have one. If you still have room for dessert, check out Wazuzhi Dessert Room. We tried their Mango & Green Tea Snow ice, Croffle with salted caramel, biscoff crumble, vanilla ice cream and Norwegian brown cheese (obsessed with this one) and Milk Tea Latte. They were so moreish, definitely worth all the calories! So impressed with the variety of their menu ~ will try the Matcha cheesecake, Thai tea snow ice, mango sago with pomelo, ice cream mochi and pineapple spring rolls on our next visit.

The food was quite good. We got plates of sushi and it was quite delicious. The service was bad, the female waitress (1st Oct, Wed 13:00) looked and spoke to us like we owed her money instead. Completely rude and disrespectful, glaring at us and spoke like she hated us. Atmosphere could be better, we were all packed together, no clear dividing of table space per seat. Any good impression of the shop’s atmosphere was gone anyway because of that horrible waitress. The food was good but would not come again. Maybe because this is a popular restaurant that they don’t care about staff attitude.

Delicious fresh sushi and delightful Japanese dishes! The staff were fabulous and tentative even if it was extremely busy.Considering how good the food is I am surprised that we only had to wait 20 minutes for a table, I would have definitely waited even longer. Every time I came to Manchester I have to eat here plus their desert bar upstairs has the best shave ice cream in UK,plus some exclusive desserts as well. I am so glad that I can enjoy such great quality food and desserts in China town. Thank you so much for the happiness you bring me with every meal!

If you love desserts, you must come try out this dessert place. There are many choices to choose from including crepes, waffles, ice creams and Chinese Sago desserts. All of them are delicious. You get served promptly by the friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Good value sushi that taste good. Place is busy so you'll need to queue before you sit down, and especially since there's not much seating downstairs. I found they don't make much variety of sushi on the conveyor belt so there was sushi on the menu we wanted but they never put it out for us to eat since you don't order sushi you just grab what you want.

Absolutely delicious. I had the chicken yakisoba and my bf had the chicken katsu curry. The chicken is just unbelievably good. So soft and tender yet crispy and well cooked through. Probably the best chicken I’ve ever had. Definitely come more often. The staff are very kind and the prices are very reasonable and not too expensive at all. I think for 2 dishes and 2 drinks we paid around £12 per person, which is very budget friendly. They have a conveyor belt with different sushi’s and sides and you can get a meal deal with 4 grey plates and a main plus drink for like £14. We were in the downstairs bit which is rather small but still enough room for a lot of people. Great place

This place is amazing, been here multiple times over the years and I always love the food- the restaurant and the dessert room are both great quality. The only reason for the 4* is because it can feel very cramped, there isn't much space to move at times. Wasabi is (rightfully) popular so it is often really busy. Thank you to the staff- they all work so hard to keep everything running smoothly, even during the busiest times. I have enjoyed every visit!
