Great place with a proper pub vibe, lots of children in the day so bear in mind if you’re not with family. Good atmosphere in the evening for drinks with friends and decent drinks selection. So best of both worlds really. Amazing pizza that people always comment on.
Really cool pub with lots of merch and retro memorabilia. Had some pizzas on the menu which were delicious.
We have been to this pub on several occasions and pizza is always good, base is delicious. In my opinion, this is one of the best pizza places in Walthamstow. If you like a quiet place, I wouldn’t recommend going there on Friday early evening, as it can be very busy and noisy. Several times we ordered pizza to take away and later ate it at home in a peace and quiet, which is a win-win too.
The atmosphere has improved recently but unfortunately the pizzas that used the be amazing are now below average. The dough is different now, lots of crust and tasteless. We asked for a refund as the sun dried tomatoes tasted off. We had primavera and margarita.
Cool place. Heated huts outside were the beer's knees. Pleasant staff. Or maybe I'm remembering wrong cos I was smashed to bits but either way highly recommended.
Pretty awful. Sunday in December, pubs freezing, ordered a guiness, couldn't get the keg to work, guy got annoyed when I asked where our drinks were, no lights in the toilets, mulled wine not working because they forgot to switch it on. Was supposed to have a Christmas ski lodge event on... Was cancelled nothing on. To be fair the food we ordered was great, the pizza lads were great and the food delicious the roast was fit! But.. venue a bit freezing cold and rubbish. Genuinely leaving now for a warmer boozer
Dog and Duck have the best freshly made pizzas I have ever had. The atmosphere at the pub is great, the staff are really friendly and they have a good selection of beers
Ordered a pizza from Deliveroo as the reviews were good but turned out to be disappointed. The crust had burnt and the middle was so under cooked it was floppy and raw, so floppy that the toppings completely slid off when I picked it up. Ate two slices with a fork and threw the rest away. Complained through Deliveroo and would appreciate a full refund.
