   4 of us went, me, partner & 2 kids one of the best meals i’ve ever had, from the food to the service. The staff made the birthday boy feel the most special ranging from singing happy birthday and bringing a cake with candles to giving us prizes for the kids beating the staff at a dance off Absolutely amazing place & even better staff Malika we thank you very much!

   I've been to the Speke retail restaurant multiple times now and I've never had a bad or mediocre experience with any of my visits. It's always been top quality and with the rewards app it's extremely good value for money. If you're looking for family friendly dining with exceptional and attentive waiting-on staff then the Speke restaurant should be next on your list. I feel that the pricing for what you get is reasonable, especially as all the food is prepared fresh and made to order, but when you've built up your rewards to the gold standard (after 10 visits) then it becomes incredible value, pretty much cutting the bill by an average of 50% each time. Even with the silver standard rewards (after 3 visits) the savings are excellent still, averaging around 40% off each time. Also, after each visit, you get sent a 1 minute survey to complete for a free code that entitles you to a free portion of dough balls that include most of the options available on the menu and not just a plain portion. A special mention for the wide range of gluten free options, with all dough products made fresh, and clear labels and different coloured cutters provided when served to the table, which brings me onto the waiting-on staff. I hope the top dogs at Pizza Express are reading this review and are taking notes when I say that you can't get a better collection of staff in a restaurant anywhere. Whatever you're paying them, you need to raise it because without this collection of staff, the restaurant will fall off the map like TGI's has a few doors down. You should send teams in to observe how a restaurant should be run and how having staff as impeccable as the ones you have here can influence customers to spend potentially a little bit more than other chains to dine here instead due to the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. And that's before we even get to the quality and freshness of the food itself. Other highlights from the staff include my son receiving his dessert with happy birthday (and his name) written in chocolate sauce on it, remembering his name on other visits and interacting with my kids everytime, being attentive to our needs but not overbearing or trying to rush us to finish our meals as other restaurants have done and always serving with a smile and welcoming attitude. I feel although this review is extremely positive, I don't feel it's enough to justify how good this restaurant in particular is. All I can truly say is go and dine in and you won't regret it.

   Had such a a lovely time recently at this restaurant when visiting with ny toddler daughter, mother and young niece and nephew. It can sometimes feel a little overwhelming dining out with small children, but our server Mary was amazing. She was so patient, caring and attentive and really made our visit enjoyable. The food was lovely and the pizzas were so large we even ended up taking some home in a takeout box. We will definitely return and recommend to friends.

   Visited Pizza Express at Speke Retail Park recently and had an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel so welcome, thanks to the warm and attentive service from the team. A special shout-out to Siobhan, the manager, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect throughout our meal. She was friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about creating a great dining atmosphere. Melaka was also brilliant—attentive, courteous, and genuinely made us feel like valued guests. The food was exactly what you’d hope for from Pizza Express—fresh, tasty, and served promptly. The restaurant itself was clean, well-organised, and had a relaxed, inviting vibe. It’s not just about the pizza (though that was excellent!)—the level of service really made the visit memorable. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend if you're in the Speke area!

   We had our daughters 8th Birthday party here. The kids got to make their own pizzas and they had a great time! The service from Liam & Kate was fantastic. The kids really enjoyed it. The food was lovely . We would highly reccomend a pizza making party here . Thank you to all the wonderful staff for making my daughters 8th birthday a memorable one ! X

   Good atmosphere on a Thursday evening. Good choice of gluten free pizzas, no gluten free pasta though. Staff were pleasant. Restaurant was nice and warm, not like some others we've been to recently where they are cutting back on heating. Would definitely go back there soon.

   We had the love bundle today (starter and main). However, the advertisement outside is quite misleading because it doesn't mention you could only choose a pizza and you only get dough balls for starter. We could only get the deal if we use the app. If you're in a group, everyone needs the app and it's quite a hassle. Other than that the pizza and dough balls were ok but the staff were really helpful and welcoming. General prices are a bit high.

   Fabulous service and lovely atmosphere. Sarah was really friendly and recommended some places to try on the retail park too. Food was fantastic, efficient service and lovely atmosphere. Would definitely go back!
