Awful experience for breakfast. Ordered two breakfasts and two coffees. Took 20 minutes just to get the coffees. When our food arrived after a long wait, the muffins with the eggs benedict were so burnt they were black. Its disgusting that the kitchen even sent it out. Both dishes were cold. When we spoke to staff about the burnt food, he agreed it was burnt and should never of been sent out. When he went to the kitchen we could hear the cook shouting it was just well done (it was black on both sides). The waiter then said management would 'sort something' off the bill. When the bill came we were told they'd knocked Β£3 off the bill for the bacon- as if we should be grateful. The manager didn't even bother to come over and apologise. This is the first bad review I've left as I hate complaining but such terrible food and service especially for the price.

If youβre looking for a lunch spot in Altrincham you have to come here!! Iβve had such a lovely experience at Oxford Road cafe - mainly credits to the staff for their service. We were served by Oliver and Evelyn. I came with my newborn baby and Oliver kindly helped me with my pushchair and they were both very attentive and the food came out really quickly. The food was also lovely, we had the Nutella French toast and the βold school birdβ burger. Really impressed with the taste of the food and I have had French toast from all the other main cafes in Altrincham/ Hale and this was by far the best.

Me and my sister went for brunch with her newborn baby. We have been reluctant to go anywhere with the baby due to worries about seating and atmosphere but weβre so happy we chose this cafe. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, we were served by Oliver and Evelyn and they went out of their way to ensure that we got our food quickly, were placed in appropriate seating with a pushchair and turned the music down so that the baby could sleep. We ordered Nutella French toast and the classic burger and everything was delicious, it was not too sweet/ oily and was a very enjoyable meal. It has been a while since I have found such an enjoyable brunch location in Altrincham but will definitely be back!

The young lady that served us was brilliant so helpful lovely and so helpful. The food was fantastic highly recommended the halal breakfast and my friend loved the omelette. The Earl gray tea came in the most wonderful tea pot and was fantastic. My friend loves the coffees so much has two cups every time. If you have never been you have to try you will not be disappointed I guarantee it. We will be coming once a week from now on may be more. I have to say that the toilets hear are really clean and the double seats one for adults and a second for children shows a real family cafe.

Great brunch, really high quality meat on the OCR big breakfast, every element was perfect. Fridns enjoyed the brisket hash, cheese and ham omelet & the smaller breakfast. It's worth the price, the service was great we changed our order a couple of times and they dealt with it well (too many tasty options!) They're very dog friendly they brought out sausages for him at no extra charge and came o came over for pets and more water etc, very impressive! 10/10

We had a lovely brunch. So refreshing to have somewhere that has zero contamination of gluten. The food was delicious. The cakes were not dry as is so often the case with gluten free cakes. Polite and attentive owners who were most welcoming. I can recommend this lovely little place in the heart of Altrincham for gluten and non gluten free eaters. We will certainly return to the off the wheaten track.

The food was average. I got the omelette with a small salad which you can see from the photos that the salad is not fresh. Also, thereβs egg shell in the omelette, quite disappointing. The english breakfast is ok. The waiting time is too long, because we drive there so we look at our watch regularly: waited for at least 15mins to take the order, waited for another 40mins to get the food.

If you havenβt tried this place yet, do it ASAP! They have extensive and creative menus with all healthy and fresh options! They had my favourite American ones too! The pulled beef brisket with egg was absolutely yummy! Very friendly staff and amazing service! Absolutely recommended!
