The creamy delicious Tonkotsu Ramen had me beyond satisfied lol I enjoyed it too much and I also had the Takoyaki which absolutely is the best! Also the staff were all giving me smiley faces. Thank you. I was having such bad mood and Mount Fuji literally saved me today. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have not stopped recommending this place since I ate there 24 hours ago. I dreamt about their rice last night! The restaurant is a modest and unassuming place, like all great japanese restaurants. We were quickly seated and spent a while soaking up the atmosphere and the great menu. I choose the beef donburi and my daughter choose the prawn gyoza. The gyoza were expertly done and perfectly crispy. The donburi, was exceptional, the rice was perfectly seasoned, the bean sprouts crispy and the beef finely sliced and tender. We will be returning midway through November and I am already counting down the days.

Most people will walk past Mount Fuji on a daily basis hopping around the Bullring. For many, there’s that ‘other place’ that sells ramen, donburi etc… The food at Mount Fuji makes their ramen taste like puddle water. Myself and a friend visited and tried two different types of ramen and some miso soup. All were exceptional, and I use that word rarely to describe food. Truly exceptional. I had the Chicken spicy tonkotsu ramen with added pork belly, and was blown away first by the portion size. This food meant business. The proportion of protein to noodle to broth is perfect, and you get two veg gyozas pierced perfectly on the top of the dish not to get soggy. My friend had the prawn ramen tonkotsu style and not only were the prawns huge, they were clearly fresh before being panko fried. There’s a reason there’s no condiments on the table. You simply don’t need them. Traditionally every ramen shop in Tokyo would have a slightly different broth, and you would learn to choose what you like. There’s space in the options to choose your base and heat. You don’t need to add anything to it. It’d be like asking for Ketchup in a French restaurant. The miso soup, beautifully served and a wonderful palette cleanser. The range of drinks are vast, and they even have some in a little store to take home. Someone please buy me the sake serving set!!! Exceptional service, polite, and the staff know Japanese which is a bonus for anyone learning the language. The menu also serves bento boxes and other rice dishes as well as sushi. Although we didn’t order these, they looked great from afar. The music ranges from calming instrumental to K/J Pop, but the food is so good you barely notice. If you get stuck waiting ‘at the other place’, turn around and walk up the left ramp. You won’t be disappointed! どうもありがとうございます!

Small but nice restaurant. 4 tables were occupied on arrival at lunch time, which got busier after 30 mins. Staff greeted and showed us to the table but weren't overly friendly. Could be better at service with a smile. But the main thing is, the food was fresh and quick service. Most dishes are reasonably priced, some are a bit over priced compared to other Japanese restaurants in the area. Overall, a good atmosphere with varied Japanese music.

Simply delicious food - prices very reasonable considering the portion sizes and fabulous taste. Great service too and loyalty card is a bonus. I've only tried their Ramen varieties so can't comment about the rest, but i'm sure it must be good too

I read the reviews and was excited as it’s hard to find decent ramen in the U.K. I fell in love with Ramen in Japan. I have to say very disappointing, the broth had zero complexity and was too hot, the noodles stodgy and over cooked, the pork was basic and the egg very dry. I was quite disappointed and left a considerable portion of the meal. Went and got something else to eat.

The staff are lovely. I did a takeaway and asked if the items could be delivered to me outside in the sunshine as I wanted to sit on the wooden seats opposite. They were more than happy to do that. The restaurant is hidden away by the walk down on the ramp by the back of the Bullring by the Church. Because I’m not familiar with Japanese dishes I asked lots of questions. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. I picked up a loyalty card because the chances are I will go there again. Ooo.. there’s a little selection of Japanese spices and snacks that you might look for in a supermarket.
