Lovely italian pizza! I was pleasently surprised. Wife had a burger absolutely juicy and full of taste
If I could rate this lower, I would. I placed an order yesterday as it was my little brothers 18th and he had said he wanted here specifically. Placed our order 15/20 mins later it was rejected via text. I tried calling - no answer dead line. Also then shut on uber eats as I tried ordering on their website originally. My little brother was gutted, I felt gutted because it ruined our plans. I had arranged for pick up 6:20 I think and it then put me in a position when we arrived to where the whole family was eating and we had nothing as we had been let down. We never got to have the food, but because of this it has left a very bad taste in my mouth. They also advertise a 2 star hygiene rating, so potentially dodged a bullet.
I had a fantastic experience at Pit Fire Waterloo! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a stylish yet cozy decor. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The portion sizes were generous, and the ingredients tasted fresh and high-quality. The service was prompt, and despite the restaurant being busy, we never felt rushed or ignored. The pricing was reasonable for the quality of food and experience provided. Overall, I highly recommend Pit Fire Waterloo to anyone looking for a great dining experience. I will definitely be coming back!
Not a massive fan of this place, unsure if it was a one off or if this is the standard as it was my first time ordering. Ordered though uber eats, arrived quicker than the estimated delivery time. Most of the food arrived hot. Carbonara was lacking in flavour and pasta was overcooked. Lobster ravioli was nice, but the cheese in the sauce was not to my liking would rather it just be something less overpowering with a flavour like crab/lobster. Pizza toppings were okay but I expected actual prosciutto on the prosciutto pizza, not just chunks of ham. The pizza base was very doughy not what I would expect from a fire baked pizza. Tiramisu looked appetising, but I was very disappointed when I went to take a spoonful and it was frozen. Overall, it was all edible but left me very disheartened for spending money on it.
2nd time I've ordered food. Last time I had missing items and food wrongly described so when delivered couldn't be eaten by one of our party. I messaged them without a reply. Gave them another chance. Food is currently over 2 hours late, he said I can pick it up if I want it or he can refund me. Still waiting for refund from last time! He offers 35% off on Crosby Eats for a reason. Don't use this company, absolute joke! Would have given no stars if had the option.
If your looking for pizza in Waterloo this is the place. The crust was airy and delicious, the toppings were tasty and of high quality, and the fries and Nutella dough balls were to die for. However I’d recommend either dining in or taking out because delivery takes a while.
Pitfire is by far one of my favourite places to eat. The pizza is made fresh and uses the tastiest ingredients. I can't explain how good the pizza is, there's a reason the owner won best pizza awards. My favourite pizza is chicken, pepperoni, mozzeralla, and garlic. It's my "go-to" pizza. The pasta dishes are equally amazing, and I've sampled most of the side dishes. As for the prices, they're the best. You get a lot of food for your money and the customer service is second to none. I'd recommend Pitfire to anyone. It's one of the best restuarants in Waterloo (and Liverpool).
Ok so the first time I ordered was from a friend's recommendation. When I received my order the pizza was cremated and the loaded fries were l..... Lacking loaded. But because I like to give places a second chance, because maybe they had a bad night, and also because there was a decent discount on the app, I re-oreded. But boy did I make a mistake. My pizza was horrid. Not only did we wait over 2 hours and multiple calls but the worst was when it arrived, the chicken on the pizza was hard, the cheese wasn't melted and the garlic bread was repulsive - no, it was completely tasteless. I have one positive though, the fries were beautiful. In this case third time is not lucky as I wouldn't waste my money on this place anymore
As other reviews state - they always mess up orders. They have a vegan menu but both times we've ordered they've used regular cheese. Delivery is extremely slow and when you ring they say they're too busy to send another one out. Literally took over a week to get our replacement the first time we used them. The second time I just drove to the restaurant to get a refund.
